At last a proper replacement for the K750i. Basically very similar to the great K750i, but much improve navigation buttons. Some people are asking about the flash, as far as I'm aware, in order to be called a 'Cybershot' it has to have a proper flash, not just a torch light like on the K750i. Looks like a very good phone, tempted to get either this or the W610i on my upgrade. Only a 2pm camera, but if the 2mp autofocus cam on the K750i was anything to go by, they'll be fantastic quality!!

it is really a cool phone by looks. i wanna buy this fone but i need to clarify its camera and sound quality through its loudspeaker and headphones. please do mail abt this as fast as possible.

hi...i am thinking whether to go for da k550 of da k750 since they both have the same features...but k550 cost more than k750...n do the keypad of k550 give trouble??its very thin n small...overall i like the both phones but i don't noe which phone shud i go for...pls help me n tell me da answer as soon as possible...thx

note this is a non-os phone so the virus has no way of copying itself nor destroying the files inside the system. simply because it is powered by java and unlike OS phones it is not open software one. you can install applications on the phone but it does not affect system settings unlike the OS one.

The box includes the installation CD , USB cable , headsets, Charger n a 64 mb card n of course the Phone itself ;).

So u are sure that it wont get effected by viruses , actually i never used Sony ericsson , so thats y i am concerned. I know abt Nokia as i always used Nokia before.

the k550 does NOT have a 2" screen, it's 1.9" i think, but it is 176x220 which is average

Is it possible to switch between FM stations via earphone's button like in NOKIA.

They're both very similar specs wise. The K550 does use the more expensive memory card, but:
-It has a better media player which can sort by artists etc.
-Can multitask up to three applications at once (compared to only one on the K750).
-Larger screen (2").
-K550 has no joystick.
-K550 lens cover won't open in pocket as often.

am really crazy about this fone but am in deliama cos some says good n some says bad.so can anyone tell me how's this fone? camera ..voice...mp3 player ...usb cable is included inside the packaged?

Ugly phone... The speaker distorts a lot, mike does not work all the time... Battery drained by the end of the day (that includes BT usage for handsfree in the car).
I would never go for it again.

K550is camera is a big flop !!! I dono whthr am the only one facing this issue.Wen compared to K750i or W700i or the VGA model K300 the cameras picture quality...i mean while takin pics an orangish or a darker image is captured.I tried all the settings and its the same. :(
This can be checked just by previewing in camera in the above mentioned models.
I am wondering whthr this is wat Cybershot is offering.Something worse than any camera !!!!
Does any of u hav such an issue or is this the prob with my phone ???

Thanks anyway. I’ved already bought in Sin. SE Indonesia is too busy to finish their old model stock was still mounting such as K750 or others until they’re forget to launch a new one.

Ei guys, I wanna buy this phone but I need to clarify something about the k550's camera feature. Does it it really have a flash or just a simple photolight? It HAS Flash says here, but on the SE Site, it says Photo Light. What's the real thing? Thanks!
