Because in my country i can surf the internet for free 24/7 (free browse technique) by using k550i. You know surfing internet is a fun stuff

Its like a alkaline batteries you use in digital camera or anything battery operated device you will notice when the battery not in use (rest) it charges it self because of the chemical compound of the batteries.

1. Make sure to Turn off your blue tooth when not in use
2. Turn off infra red when not in use
3. Keep the key sad sound silent
4. Turn off the vibration and lessen the ring volume. When you knew you could hear it. Use the profile features.
5. Use a theme that have no animation or Use a picture to use it as wall paper.

And that interruption thing wh... morewhat's the maximum days of your battery? im in doubt now on whether to use the radio or the mp3 bcoz of this issue.. what can u say with my battery going back annd forth? a while ago i checked the battery status, 76% when i look at it again,it's 80%.. whoa! does this happen to your phone? tnx a lot adhd.. btw, i already reduced the brightness. tnx!

And that interruption thing what i mean is when it is in charging process never unplugged your charger just let it be fully charged. You can use your phone while it charges but never over use it because the battery will heat up. And the batteries 1,000 cycles will reduce.
At display brightness 100 percent is tooooo much bright. Make it 50 percent to make the battery last.
My k550i is at 50 percent brightness

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2008my display brightness is only 50% how about you?my display brightness is 100%. it is a default setting, i didnt change it.. in the manual, it only says that charging should be atleast 2.5hrs or until the battery is fully charged. there was no mention watsoever on how long you have to charged it. ive charged it initially for 6hrs becoz it was the advised of the service agent from where i bought it.. i bought the phone last 8-27-08. are you saying that when i'm charging i should off or at the least not use the phone so there'll be no interruptions? i'm sorry but do you mean by 10% and all that?

Do not interrupted the charging process when it is not fully charged. Charge your phone at 10 percent. Never never charge your phone at 50 ,40 30 or 20 percent. And also DONT fully drain (empty) your battery phone.

It says there "initially the battery will discharge faster because of the amount of time the battery has been inactive. It will take about 5 to 7 days or about 4-6 recharges and discharges before the battery can operate on its full potential"

hey guys! i just want to know if your battery drains faster? i was observing mine, (i had just bought this phone about 2wiks ago)& its maximum battery life is two days.. i ddnt use the camera, the radio and the mp3 to test the battery if it would drain faster. all i did was sms. help me out guys! sometimes i noticed that the battery icon goes back and forth (like from 75% it goes up to 86% and then goes down again to 75%). i charged it initially for 6hrs bcoz the service agent said so. please advise me guys! tnx a lot!

ingredients
1. USB 2.0 All in 1 Card Reader (a card reader where all memory card can be inserted like MMC, M2, SD, Micro SD etc. )
2. M2 memory card with adapter (the memory card for SE k550i)
if you purchased an M2 memory card it have and adapter right? Because the M2 memory card is so small, insert the M2 to the adapter then put it in the USB2.0 ALL in 1 Card Reader. Then just plug it to the usb (p.c.) then go to my computer you will see many drive just open it all to find the M2.

.thm ? (Example crystallite.thm) if yes it will work at k550i.
Ingredients for transfering a files
1. DCU-60 usb cable (included at k550i box)
2. Installation software (the cd at the k550i box)
For transfering a files from your phone via p.c. Vice versa, you must install a usb flash driver to the p.c. ( install the included cd software in the k550i box) to detect your k550i as SEMC flash drive. After installing it put the DCU-60 cable at your p.c. then to your k550i your p.c will now recognize it as SEMC flash drive then go to my computer you will see phone memory and phone card (M2 memory card) you can now drag and drop the files.
You can put the .thm (theme file) at any folder.
If you dont have the installation cd. Google SEUS (sony ericsson update service) install it
note: dont update your k550i to SEUS now coz the latest firmware sucks. Just install to your p.c. to recognize your k550i as flash drive.
