i got this phone but after a week the camera had a line that was very defined in taking pictures. good thing there was warranty and sony e fixed it for free. and there is no zoom on the normal shoot mode. hmmm.. weird.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970K550 having best sound feature equal to nokia's 1110 ,1100,1600.if u want to hear the music at the max volume u should keep the phone near to your ear otherwise u won't hear any sound eventhough the volume is rise in K550.

hi!!i hav a problem.
i bought da phone 1n1/2 year back.games n apps worked fine then.
but now i cant install games n applications on my phone.it gives me message 'operation failed'.i tried master reset, but dat dint solve da problem.
please help!!

led zeppeling, 30 Jun 2008Ei h0w ab0ut the far distance? Is it sharp or blurr or what ?At outdoor there is no problem with the distance... no matter how far the distance cause outdoor giving adequate light.
I am quite surprise with the photo quality at outdoor! near digital camera.....it is sharp and clear...
But in indoor picture rather blur cause lack of light.

As i hv been sayin,k550 got 1of d best 2mp cam. N abt d sharpness generally d closer d object(u shoot) d sharper d picture(u get).in daylight,it can take great n sharp pics at a distance of 50feets max.any more dan dat,pics might gona get blurr.btw, k550 takes sharper n beta pics dan d 2mp boss k750(wen enuf light is available).in low light, k750 beats k550 hands down.

I just wanna comment about the camera cause I have this phone and having trial the camera.
1. Camera is good at outdoor.
2. Camera is bad at indoor (This cause the lack of light while usually in indoor). You may correct this problem using additional light source.
3. Macro or short distance photo is very good for its class. Sharp and clear. Near digital camera quality. I usually using this macro function to photo information such as brochure, name card, user manual etc. After you take macro photo with this phone than you can read it on the phone screen clearly and sharply.
4. Having complete setting like Digital Camera.
Summarize: Good camera..

@all k550i user what is the camera version do you have? Mine is 2.3 to check the version of camera in stand by mode press the right button D pad, asterisk, left, left on D pad, asterisk, left then asterisk. Then go to service info, select software info to see the version of camera.

This phone is durable but don't compare to smart phone... coz different prize and smart phone have WINDOWS INSIDE! Windows is miracle!

@super saiyan why when i take picture at a long distance the capture image is blurr it is n0t sharp (auto m0de focus n0t macro n0t infinite) even at landscape m0de is blurr like it have m0re contrast. The only sharp image is at cl0se distance (auto m0de n0t macro n0t infinite).

sagar, 28 Jun 2008Hi, Does anybody use the white color model of k550i.. ... moreI have a pearl white one for about 7 month and it still charming. I think u should get extra care indeed. Store it in a leather case instead of pocket. Use handkerchief or such to wipe ur hand b4 holding it.
