A big problem...
cann't open and download *.jar and *.jar applications with this phone.Only i get a lot of symbols,nothing more.

iMODE is like a website that has a WAP site.. meaning its similar to a low fi version of a webpage... =)

I saw quite some question regarding what is I-mode and also a few incomplete answers =P
I-mode is a form of internet on you handset but instead of going to normal websites it is limited to 'special' I-mode sites. Via those sites you can download ringtones, screenlogos, get information, download games and so on. I-mode also enables your handset to send and receive e-mails. Usually your mobile operator will even give you an I-mail address, which is basicly the same as a normal e-mail address. Of course your operator has to support I-mode to be able to use it (and you need an I-mode HS + I-mode subscription)

Hi All,
I've got plans to buy this mobile, How is the overall performance? The specification says that the Talk time is Up to 7 hrs. Is it true???? Can i use the mobile for 3 days by listening to music ...etc in a single charge???

just bought this phone and can say that I`m very pleased with it. the 1st bug I discovered is that when you listen to music(mp3) and the phone goes into screensaver mode, if you try to raise the volume it does rase it but doesn`t come out of screensaver mode and doesn't show the volum bar. You need to change the song. Anyway...the phone is awesome and it's really nice. TIP: Don`t install the software from SE cuz you might end up like me with 'unrecognized usb device' and will have to copy your media on the phone in safe mode:D.

I am a long-time sony ericsson fan/user and have stuck with SE through a lot of glitches, but this time I am done. This is a complete POS. Software bugs - phone turns off by itself, hardware problems - 6(GHI) key works once every 10 times I try to use it when texting. Drives me nuts! I am in the market for a new phone. As soon as I get it, I'll smash this one in the wall.

I'm from Antigua WI.
My first Sony Ericsson was a Z525i. My next phone would have been the S500. But after seeing the K550im I fell in love with SONY Ericsson it all over again. So I decided to get one.
I've been through NOKIA, MOTOROLA, SONY ERICSSON.
SONY ERICSSON is the best type of mobile phones.
