hey cezar,thankz for giving me site for wavepad!!
well, umm... the joystick in the k600i is great!!It looks neat and it doesnt break.I think this phone is great!!After all it is the cheapest 3g phone here in the pinoy world.

ehh pimpim or anyone who used this phone,
does the joystick better than other SE phones like k750 etc. does it break easily? or it is better and more durable than those i've mentioned. can any of you reply coz i want to know it. coz k600i is the cheapest 3g phone in philippines and smart and globe has 3G (except sun cellular as of now) which features TV streaming! wow nice move on those networks,,, now no more need of Nokia N92 DVB-H reciever and LG DMB phones... by the way it's my own opinion and i want to be wise in choosing so i need help.. can some of you tell me?

a lot of you who posted are complaining about the memory and that you couldn't store as much mp3's as you would like..

this is a cellular phone. it was just injected with all these "extra" features.
if you want more mp3's, buy an mp3 player.
k600i does a great job. it's modern design really does well. (well, except for the "over" recessed keypads) but overall, it
is good. ..great even.
the only mp3's i store here are my favorite favorite ones. you can compress these mp3's down up to 2MB each with a sound program to concise everything and have them all stored onto your phone.
(so, maybe 10 of your favorite mp3's, that's 20MB. you have 13MB left, use it for photos. photos doesn't take as much space. 13MB is just right. [well, if you want more, buy a digital camera. geeeesh.])
it has a built-in radio. so, if i want to hear other songs, i would just tune into my favorite station. use the speakers if you like.

i want this phone, all it's features are excellent if i will compare it to a nokia best model to compete is the nokia 6680. it's similar apart from symbian and edge btw do philippines have edge? so no use and 3g hsdpa is faster than edge and gprs. can someone tell me if the pictures taken from the camera better than 6680... and sound quality better or equal or not? it's so cheap today and it offers what a nokia 6680 offers

i have recieved news that smart also has Hsdpa but not yet available and it's now ready to work nationwide globe has hsdpa also but ready to work but in some cases the globe 3g hsdpa is not so widely available in the country (manila,baguio and other parts of visayas) so globe 3g lovers must wait for another months maybe for starting the high speed communication nationwide...

Pimpim and Czar - Im one of the expat engineers who rolled out Smart 3g in the Philippines. I agree with Czar, Globe surpassed Smart and now they have a lot of catching up with Globe's 3.5g. For some reason, Smart didnt follow our advice.

pimpim yes it can be! but you need to download the software on SE website on your location and try it. i din't tried it yet because my phone hasn't the required feature: bluetooth i'm a k300 user and you can post some questions there(k300,k750) if you want and me and other phone (have you heard abt the name @doul? he's an expert in k750) experts posting there could helf further coz most SE phones have similar characteristics

Hi,
I transferred some photos from the PC to the default picture folder in the phone, but for some strange reason I'm unable to see the pictures when I open the folder on the phone. They are obviously in there as the folder properties displays more number of pictures than can be seen. Can someone please help?

i bought this unit 2 months ago and i find it useful in my work and it goes well until now, but my problem is i cant save more pics and movie clips because of its limited memory, i hope that we can upgrade its memory slots into a larger memory

hey guyz!!cezar you were right there is a 3g network in globe so i'm thinking trying it out.wahehehehe this is my first SE fone and it's great!!though i still have doubts bec it has no memory card it's still great!!My cousin who just won a w800 said that his and my fone can be used as a remote for the TV, is it true guyz?if so pls reply thankz in advance

Globe has HSDPA 3g communications now which is absolutely faster than SMART 3g can you compare GLOBE (1.5mbps) to SMART (384kbps) maybe smart has been bankrupt due to its unlimited promos :(

I have been using it for 3 weeks already. & FYI this is my 1st Sony Ericsson phone coz b4 this I was a Nokia user for years! I think this k600i is not so bad. But since it is a 3G phone, maybe it should've have a card slot so that I can store in more mp3 songs in it. I don't like the calendar function actually coz compared to my previous Nokia 3100, I can store in my reminders whether I want to repeat it everyday, every week, every month or even every year. But for k600i I can't do that so it is kindda suck... BTW, I do really like the camera & the sound of its speaker is awesome!!! (^_^)

my dad just bought me a k600 last april 24
and it's really great!!the camera is just awesome!!there's just one thing though, can you use the front camera for taking pictures?

i'm using my new k600 now for 3 weeks and it really performs well. It has a good camera both back and front.. the camera infront's resolution is definitely better than nokia's 6680 and N70!!!I really love it........
