You're thinking of the v600, in terms of functionality it's basically the same as the k600 but has slightly different styling and is exclusive to vodafone.

in regards to the black k600i with vodafone branding......this is known as a SonyEricsson "V600i" vodafone branded 3G handset...

In Malaysia, i have found this phone.It is black and it has a Vodafone writing under it. Can anybody explain this? Thank you in advance

...nice phone
...great features
...but the keypad is too small that your fingers may ache if your texting too much
...enough memory if you're not an avid fan of mp3. but the radio would be a nice substitute for music lovers.

a great phone, a good resolution of pictures, but too bad that it doesn't have a slot card, althogh nice design etc..

Pros:
Reasonably fast response time to keypresses
Quality camera for a mid priced phone
Easy to use - common features are reachable by one button.
Stable operating system software - no spontaneous resets, no phone lockups requiring resets so far.
Issues:
Battery life is 3-4 days standby on 3G networks - OK but could be better
Programmable shortcuts erased when phone is switched off
WAP/XHTML browser - this could be improved - Opera Mini is much faster

Not bad telephone,except i must choose between mms or wap services.
I'm trying for a couple of days now ,and i can't set it.I can use only the one of the services at a time...
Any ideas?

a pretty nice phone and i had mine for almost a month now...no regrets, a very dependable workhorse...features and design is great...its not true that application freezes! sad thing it doesnt have a memory card :( i'll just have my phone upgrade as soon as the k800 will be released here in the philippines but currently i'm happy with my k600...

Whoa! that's what my SE K600i is to me! I'm quite satisfied with it's performance PLUS the stylish looks and very dependable to! Downside of it like what the other users wrote - low ringer and message volume HOWEVER, if you have your earphones it's FANTASTIC! I'm reall enjoying my phone! =o0)

Bought this a week ago.
Was skeptical cos of the price, but its been solid!
Mp3 sounds are brilliant. Display is really sharp. Very happy with it...
Only wish it had a mem card slot.

phone is very good and I'm happy that I have it. But [ther is always 'but'] the calendar comper to siemens [s65] sucks. when I put birthdate in contacs it has mm/dd/yy format and my sister is born in 1980 and when I put yy=80 her birthdays apear on 2080 not 1980 and are recurrent from 2080 up not from 1980 ;( can some one help my with it? mail me plz

Just bought it. Good phone, but any way to further increase PHONE VOLUME?
(the ^ max is not enough)
Its too low (even at maximum). Ring vol and speaker phone vol is ok.

Don't know what you're talking about but I find the k600 very solid; I've dropped it loads of times and it's never broken of fallen apart like so many other phones would do if dropped

finally!!!!!!!!!! people are doing something with thier dumm K600i rather than keep complaining about poor ringer volume, etc! I've been posting since last year how to amplify mp3 volume using wavepad audio editor. For those people who have tried doing it via wavepad... good for you! for those people who are dumm on complaining poor volume... keep on complaining cuz you are dumm.

this phone is pretty good , menu not as easy as nokia phones but has heaps of good features , contruction of phone isnt the best so you wouldnt wanna drop it .
