      I enjoy this phone for some months, yet the only reason I am not completely happy with it is that there's no memory card available. It has a radio, though. Still, this is a good phone, really solid and resistant.

          I have a k600i phone... it's my fist time to use the restrict calls under the manage calls menu in settings. A password is needed in changing the settings.. what is the default password of the phone?

            Has anybody had this problem? I have it on the loudest ring tone and no graduated sound and most of the time, I do not hear it when it's in my bag.
            Has anybody else found this? I've taken it back to where I bought it and had it checked out and asked at other dealers and no one can tell me how to get it louder.
            Any ideas would be appreciated. thanks

                      The remote control software is now free!
                      waaaaa I wasted my money! If only I waited a little longer.../sob

                      Sony Ericsson envisages a touchscreen remote control that can display different remote control user interfaces, while the phone itself contains the necessary electronics to control a home device such as your TV or Hi-Fi. the general idea is of making your mobile phone an actual remote control, capable of switching TV channels, calling up and controlling a TV programme guide, operating your DVD or VCR, in other words, everything you'd want a remote control to control.

                      Sony Ericsson's idea is even more ingenious, though, as they anticipate the remote contorl user interface being implemented as a 'skin', which can be downloaded onto the phone either from the device itself or from a website.Now the question must surely be "why has Sony Ericsson not released this feature yet?" as this patent was filed on August 26th 2005. Of all the amazing features crammed into mobile phones over the past few years, surely this one is a killer app. source:Patent Page mobilementalism

                        i got this phone back in may, it is sweet
                        i just wish i didnt live in america, coz then i could use the video calling. i also wish i didnt have cingular, cause i can only get half of their signals, o well.
                        too bad no expandable memory
                        yea, u can use it as a remote control for computers and projectors and other things like that stock. lots of fun to go to the apple store, pair it with one of the computers through bluetooth, then control the computer while people are trying to use it. hours of fun
                        hehe

                          I've got the phone for like 1 year (brought form France) and have had NO problems ever.
                          On a 1 to 10 scale overall I would put a strong 8, it's a great phone for its price,but just small remarks:
                          1. Very-very little memory;
                          2. If you are a sms-user, you'll have problems cause the buttons are integrated too deep in the phone's body;
                          3. Short-time lasting battery.

                          so, if anybody knows how to turn off the 3G option on the phone (there is no 3G service in Moldova yet, or I don't know about it) plz tell me how to do it. thanx

                            Hi Regil.
                            Could you pls explain more on the issue of using this phone as remote contol. Kindly write in full the link you provided on developer.sonyericsson... I am yet to make up my mind in bying this phone. I know that there are other better phones. But considering cost and good spec, I think K600 will be a good choice.
                            Thanks.

                                  tips for audio,

                                  i discovered itunes can convert a mp3 to aac which i use to my phone. just set to 64K.
                                  it's much lesser than mp3.the sound is still quit fine.

                                  thanks,

                                    its internal memory is 30mb. (yup pretty small) but what i do is, i save the other 10mb for the pictures and use the other 20mb for mp3's. i use a software (sound forge) to compress my mp3's. (a 5mb mp3 can be compressed into roughly 2mb) so for 20mb, i can store 10 mp3's onto my phone.

                                    (i really don't use my phone just to hear music so i just store in my favorite ones.)

                                      yes, you can use it as a remote control.
                                      you just have to have the software.
                                      i THINK it's pre-loaded onto the phone when you buy it.

                                        Hey guyz! Just added some extra 'Some2x' to my k600...it's been almost a year now and I still love it! Although I had to fix my phone twice already but it still the best! One thing though is that the memory is too small...I need a memory card slot for this phone.
