if SE will make changeable casings as you are saying, the phone will be less solid,.. prone to breakages when dropped and will be easily damaged than what you are saying as of now...
IMAGINE: changeable covers could have movable parts or etc. and that may broke once a careless user tends to change it's covers... before i have a Nokia 3310 and my friend has 3100,.. sevral times that i fall it on the floor at least 3ft tall and know what happens? the interior casing broked damages the main board together with the messed-up external cover...
i can't see any companies out there that produces style-up DIY changeable covers except nokia, and nokia isn't the best phone in durability but SAMSUNG,.. i am fan of nokia before due to it's popularity and user-friendliness in their line-ups but rather realized the potential of other companies such as this young SE,SAMSUNG and the new ASUS better than nokia...

Sony Ericsson Lacks End user Personalize Xpress Changeable Housing..Less option in personalizing your SE cellphones and limited, expensive Accessories..Its Prone to Scratch that may destroy the beauty of the Cellphone Housing..specially its LCD screen panel..
I HOPE Sony Ericsson WILL realize this Suggestion that they should Provide an Option for the user to change their Housing any time by their own hands..Like some of..NOKIA Phones..

The Negative Part of Sony Ericsson Mobile phones is their battery because of a longtime recharge..and get easily drained..To: Sony Ericsson Team; WHY NOT include with your phones a Long Life and Fast Charging Battery..

this is explainable:
SE no longer put all features in one device since P990 and W900, they do it not just to have money, but to provide more stable units for their customers, please note that putting so many features would affect the platform or the OS work stable,.. in this case: basic features in a phone, when a person encounters bugs, can be fixed immediately and percentage of stability is far higher than all in ones...
anyway k600 is alot cheap now, and if you need a memory card, there is a K618/K610 which is actually cheap and closely resembles k800 cybershot in it's platform... it only lacks radio and flash but there is an alternative: accesories...

Sony Is very smart by not creating a flagship model that will contain all the features in one unit ,instead they come out with different phones that lack one feature or another. This way they lure people to buy the new phones and increase their profits. This holds true to the rest of them.

i have usb for that phone, but it doesn't work with my PS.It says that synchronization bad. But whay? Others phones work

It is a great phone until i dropped it and broke screen and now i am trying to find places that will fix it at a cheap price.
If a worker reads this can u tell me how much it would be to get a new screen and where abouts you are???

Umm... its a great phone with lots features but the downfall is lacking memory card and the navigational key is starting to unhinge

The best phone for the worth of its price. It has all the features except a memory card slot. Well 32MB is enough if you dont wanna listen MP3's. Camera quality is good, FM, good sound clarity, Call recording facility, Themes, etc etc.... This is the best. I loved it.
