i'm going to say the phones crap but the only problem is that the memory isnt very good adn the phone breaks easily if u want to save time and money i wudnt buy this phone if ur going to have loads of pics and music on there then theres no point in getting this phone

i got this phone yesterday.it has gr8 features,the front camera is useless though.mp3 player is ok.drawback-->>no memory slot.

Hi to all!!!sony ericsson phones are really technology wise phones compare to all other brands dont get mad if k608 does not have memory expansion.Im working on a service center and most of the phones experiencing hanging angd memory corruption is due mainly on memory card file corruption and if that happen it could really affect also ur phone memory and also could damage ur internal memory chips.This is just a simple advice be content dont download too much file mp3,pictures,videos,games,themes because it could make tour phone prone to memmory corruption.

A hidden feature of this phone K608 which most users are not aware of That is; it has a bultin black list option, it means u can receive calls only from the list that u have created in that option & the contacts that r not in the list would receive the busy tone signal or a messege from the network provider, here in Pakistan, the messege sounds as (the line is busy, plz try later), u can activate this option by: go to setting> Calls > Manage Calls> Accept calls> press ONLY FROM LIST, after doing this the phone will ask to add contacts & take u to the phone book, select the contacts or groups u want to receive calls from, u can add a maximum of 12 contacts & if u want to add more, than u have to create groups in the phone book & than add them as a group....by doing ur phone will ring only if someone from the list calls u, & if someone who is not in the list, u will receive a missed call,.... bye... (This feature is also available in all SE 'K' series phones)...if u have any questions, u r wellcome

@ Daniel:which country do u live in my freind and who is the service provider for ur phone example:U.K (Vodafone),(O2),(3) or do u live in the U.S.A:(Cingular) ask ur service provider for details on 3g and wap services for the internet my friend :) good luck hopefully it will help u out

i fell for this fone when it firstcame, it had everything i had dreamed of but once i realized tht there was no memory card i didnt give a second thought about buying it.Has sonyericsson really made a big blunder by offering its customers a fone for lesser price with 3g capability but no memory expansion or memory card...???i think so.what do u guys think other wise i think this fone is cool but the real downside is very less memory and the hopes of downloading more videos and songs, themes etc...etc r dashed.

hi guys! im back again. need help again. call me a know-nothing but how can i maximize the use of this fone? u see, as of now, i only use my fone for calling, texting and taking pictures. i dont even know how to use the 3g. (im a smart user by the way) how bout the internet capability? tsk tsk. pity me. hehe.

the 10 pesos per 30 mins is offered by smart for gprs and 3g users, whenever you acces wap or html in your phone, this rate is automatically charged once you've started and ended 30 minutes surfing outside the smart wapsite... another 10 pesos for 30 minutes after surfing half an hour... jst download the GPRS/3G settings if you still have no settings. i have been using opera mini 2.0 for my HTML browser, you can download it to getjar.com...
and about the k608 and k750, i'll say to you k750 really rocks! it's a perfect imaging phone with the best 2mp autofocus camera and a looks similar to a cybershot camera, perofrmance, feature-packed phone even without 3g is really the best... u sed u dont wnt 3g by dis tym... so get k750 if u will tell me... k608 have performance similar and identical(same quality mp3,video etc. to k750, theyre both functionaly identical except some differences such as 3g, memory card and camera quality. k608i takes good quality pics and is comparable to nokia 6680 and 6630... and k750 takes better pics than Nokia n90, have tried this before...

Thats it... all features packed in one, except memory, this phone has all one can desire, & about the net surfing on mobile phones, here is the tip for saving money while surfing the net on almost every mobile phone: 1. Turn off the Pictures in wap setting 2. Turn off cokkies option 3. I Recommend u to install Opera mini browser that is available for free on its website for most of the phones wid java support....take care & enjoy....

and are u a k608i user? do u think its a good phone? hows the pic quality and screen quality. is der a big diff from 2megpix to 1.2megpix? i still dont know if ill but k750i again or buy a new one. its may not be a more advance than b4 but it has 3(im reffering to k608i) but im not really interested in 3g (as of now) im more of the pic quality... i still have to do some math for the pros and cons and w/c is better a 1.2megpix w/3g phone or a 2megpix, has a big mem (w/ expansion) but w/o 3g? k608i here in my place is PhP 9990 amd k750i is PhP 13000+.
im into thinking that if i would buy a new phone in place of my lost phone, i want it to be a new model not like the previous model. its not that i dnt want the k750i (and i bet u its a great great phone).
PLS help me 3g vs 2megpix
im more into taking pics but could the 3g experince sufice the lacking .8megapix???

my sister also suffers cellphone snatching,,, how awful... people in philippines, beware of those snatchers! theyre very smart to steal our beloved phones that easily... also in magic mall urdaneta city, in magic department store the snatching rate is very very high! beware.. and one word for them, screw you all man!

smart or globe,they all have good communication... dont be blinded by HSDPA coz thers still no available HSDPA phones here, only WCDMA and UMTS, so dont believe that HSDPA increases your UMTS/WCDMA phone's 3G speed... im a Smart subscriber and theyre good, i am surfing internet for just P10 per 30 minutes... and i can browse many sites with that time using Opera Mini 2.0... try it
