hello from philippines! .... this is really a great phone just like my nokia 6230, it's cute but full of wonders! i love all the features, specially the images, sound and the crispness of the LCD. It's 3G really works amazing and the FM radio sounds great. I can also open my hotmail accounts, send and receive messages but dont look for your attachments on it. REMINDER TO ALL OWNERS OF SE K608... IF YOU'RE NOT USING YOUR 3G OR VIDEO CALLING, PLEASE SELECT "GSM ONLY" UNDER CONNECTIVITY,THEN MOBILE NETWORKS, GSM/3G NETWORKS. TO SAVE BATTERY LIFE I TRIED IT AND IT IS PROVEN.

i bought this phone last week i luv it but i think its not to stylist n the ringtones volume is not to good i cant heard loudly ring back tones even after i turn on the speaker.

hello i would just want to know if the FM radio of this particular model is dependent to the network that provided this model.you see i bought this model and never that i use the fm radio and that i cant do anything about it according to the technician since the network is from other country such as 3. help pls. enlighten me please :)

this is a vrry nice set, i am very satisfied to use it. it's gprs works fast than k550i which i used last.

I like the design of the SE but the draw back is the narrow TFT display of it. Why can't the SE design a unit with big screen just like Nokia. SE unit possess crisp audio and clear video attributes. For SE unit, please improve the size of display(enlarge).

Well the phone uses more than 1900band. if you look at its descriptions it says:
UMTS / GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900
No 850. So no, not possible to switch to 850 since there is no hardware for it in the phone.

I purchased this phone online for use with the Cingular network in the US. Unfortunately I can not get it to connect to the network and was informed by the seller that the phone is not compatiable with Cingular. (K608 uses GSM 1900 and Cingular is on GSM 850.) Is there anyway to switch the badnwidth?

Bad features: Memory, In some cases Software.
About Software: Everytime u need to swap between T9 and normal mode when u'll try to save one's name. There is no shortcut key to do that. U have to do it using a pop-up menu and pressing the buttons several times.

The phone's gr8... too good... Bluetooth rocks... Software speed is gr8... The mp3 player quality is amazing.. (compare with Music CDs played in Megabass Sony HiFi) but, belive me.. the memory SUCKS!!!
What good is such a good mp3 player, if it can't store more than 6-7 songs..... pathetic... SE doesn't know how to control the market. No wonder Nokia is the leader... The bluetooth's fab... The FM too is good.. don't use the earphones in the pack. Buy separate ones.... But, the memory makes me want to throw it in the bin...

@sweet cherry : May be u should return the unit, i think there is a problem with FM Radio..

My tips for sound to reduce memory used :
- Used mp4 (48kbps, 44.000khz, Mono -> quality is good to hear). I think the quality sound a little bit is same with mp3 (96kbps 44.000khz Stereo), the size mp4 is 40% than mp3.

Yes i have used your sony ericsson k608,i do likeit how it looks everything is working properly but one thing i would like to know is if i can downlod music from my computer it got software and i have installed the cd into my computer,i can see something els i can not see any pctures from my phone or anything on it.
So my question is,is it possible to transfer musics from any other like computer?becaue i want to ue it like a workman,please could you help me how to do it.

im cherry from philippines, i've been using my k 608 for 3 weeks now and i am very satisfied with it, the only problem i have is that i cant use the FM RADIO, of course i connect first my head set before trying to use the FM RADIO but the i get the message " connection failed . check network coverage or data and internet settings " please i would really appreciate your help :)
