For installing java apps, simply copy the jar file to phone via bluetooth and select games or applications folder. Or copy via usb cable and SE PC Suite. Or copy to memory card using usb cable and select 'install'.

2) Where to get free themes,games and applications and how to put?
Please reply it as possible and if se is going to put everything in one then battery cannot make it so think twice before u post it correctly. i using 2gb memory card and no problems at all so i say this phone is the loudest and is easy to use. anything just post to me.

SE please do not remove important features in all SE phones... please standardized this features in all your next phones...
-MegaBass Feature(not only in walkman)
-Autofocus(not only in cybershot)please put it in every megapixel camera phones of SE(1mp,1.3mp,2mp,3.2mp and higher)
-Led/xenon flash two or at less at least it has,..(look at k700i before)
-Radio RDS(standard in all walkman,Z,M,P,K seies phones)
SE please don't remove important feautres in your phone just increase it's features and do not decrease it.. SE people loves your models very much so please don't make us disappointed at all,.. SE is known for it's complete features before please improve and add more.....NOT TO REMOVE...

please kindly help, our K618i phone is in trouble. Is is showing white screen like it is hanged and will lost all the text messages i have encoded. So much problem..please help what to do. We have no service center here in our place. This is the only Sony Er that gives so much problem to us. I have been using other units before like k610 and w800. thank u.

k618i have only one speaker, the two is only a design...
Can I upgrade it to make all speaker function... i want to make the speaker louder...

Well I have this phone for 6 months. I'm very pleased by the phone. It have very loud and clear sound, it doesn't have the radio but I never use radio:). It's an excellent phone, except 2 things it doesn't have 3 speakers, and one more think it doesn't have an autofocus for the camera, like it has SE w810i although i'm very satisfied by the pictures. I made about 1000 photos with this phone and I must say that night and inside photos are average but landscapes picutres are very good. Also it doesn't have the macro wich sometimes I need. Oh yeah and the video quality is average with only 176x144 resolution. I want to say that Nokia 6233 have a 480x640 video resolution, and the sound is louder but the sound doesn't have a good and clear quality.
The Disgn a like a lot because it is very beautiful, I have the White version and I'm very pleased.
Although of this things the phone is very Good.
If you are chosing from SE K618i and Nokia 6233 better buy SE K618i, because it isn't very comfortable in use. Nokia doesn't have the Player button and also I hate it's functionality because you even can't swith betwen 2 applications when at the SE you can switch betwen 2 or more applications.
So buy Sony Ericsson K618i Because it's the BEST :)

Now the upgraded version of this phone is available that is K530! Memory support that is 2GB & RDS-FM Radio have been added to K530. Although K530 has only 1 speaker, but the speaker is very much louder than this model. In fact, the price is reasonable too!

Pretty good phone with good performance that rivals even with the walkman phone,it's a phone for either business or entertainment as it's price is pretty much reasonable

i fall in love with this type of hp...only the users know...although it doesn't av fm but i still can listen to my fvrt sngs... hope other users do n feel the same way too....

I never change ta it 530! I use 2gb m2 & 1.3gb full.at that time it has free only 700 mb but warks as 256mb original chip. No slow anyone want to hack mobyexplorer you can do it eazily only with your fone. I do it. Only bad is, it cant move to phone memory. If you want to flash your fone, you can get fre firmware from here

Just wanted to ask a series of questions about this phone since I'm interested in it:
1. Is this phone any good?
2. Does the D-pad wear off after constant use?
3. Is the picture quality of the camera good?

K530 has no music dedicated key
Sony ericcson MXE-60 attachable flash is not compatible with K530; no problem with K618
But K530 hasradio.
