But to tell the truth i dont like sonyericsson feature phone and the nokia series 40 user interface a bit....thats all to it

Sekar, 08 Jul 2008I used SE k660i for 1 month, before i went and bought noki... moreYes u are correct,but i please recall that k660i is the first sony Ericsson K series mobile which has Media player3.0 along with Media manager newly developed for high end mobiles as K850i,W910i.The music reproduction and reception of this model is above average.The browser is a bit slow as compared to W610i and W580i but they both lack 3G and HSPDA,video calling,Rss reader tricker.Nokia E61 is a great choice but it lacks quality in multemedia content when compared with K660i for sure.I am using this mobile in very noisy environment but have never faced any problem in communication.

I used SE k660i for 1 month,
before i went and bought nokia e61i,
the phone is good for the budget concious peope with all round features at an economical price.
The camera is good too, but needs good brightness.
The web browser is average, i say that because i once used the k610i , it had a supurb web browser.
The most dissatisfying aspect of all SE phones however, is the caller on the other end cannot hear you properly from an noisy environment, it was the same with k660i and with k610i ......

mey be in your place have gprs signal only (no faster when you can working in gprs signal only).
in my place 3G's signal is usefull ...
k660 is very fast with 3G's signal.
k660 born with new platform A200 ( Like k850).

Everything seems to be fine except for battery life which absolutely is not good, especially for a 950 mAh. Battery life seems to be the broblem for most of SE phones.

when u get this phone can u change the covers because i am lookin 4 a new fone nd i was lookin at the o2 web site nd it said u can change colours i would lyk 2 no frm the ppl(people) who bought this fone when u got it was there another cover with it?? answer my question as sooon as u can plezz cause i relli want 2 get it as soon as possible tank xxx

When i heard about this cell i was totally excited for having a web based cell, the best features that the company claims about i.e. Having high speed internet access and good downloading experience is all B.S. The cell is a disaster
it stucks while browsing.
The net browser is way too slow and is unable to open all websites and give a good view.
Also it fails to download files.
The mobile restarts if we resume in media player.
I committed a mistake by buying such cell save yourself.

Again recharge it full and let it discharge fully. Repeat the cycle 3 times at least, after that you will get optimum battery back up from ur device.This should be followed for any type of Lithiom ion of lithium polymer batteries.This is suggested by some Branded manufacturers worldwide, they say this way the charge retention capacity of the cells increase to its maximum.

Dear all, The phone has security lock system for SIM and Phone Both. It is Given in "Settings'in 'General'. No by the software 'SMART GUARD ' I did not mean 'Face wrap'as it is something different.Hey did anyone of you guys has discovered 'PLUS'Application in your Mobile???? Do The 'Demo" clip in ur mobile functions well?????? In my mobile which i purchased in India both the PLUS application and the 'DEMO 'video clip are missing however,presence of it is being advertised over the cover box.K530i comes loaded with 'PLUS' application.
