Use your PC Suite CD whcih comes with your fone or go to SE website and download. Then connect your K700i to you PC (com5 or other Serial port). Check and make note some firmware and bluetooth device may have problem with syn.
P.S. Or you can try a s/w called "floAt's mobile Agent", some of my fd find this better than PC suite. Cheer!

Don't have to use JAD maker, just download the zip file from web (dont rename the filename)and rename the format from *.zip to *.jar and upload to your phone.
SE fone only support jar and mp file...not even wav.... T_T

Try before you say it. MP4 can also support audio file. Use iTune, go to "Edit" > "Preferences" > "Importing" set "Import Using" to AAC (set to 64kps stoero or lower, I use 48kps). Put one MP3 into iTune and left click then choose convert to AAC. Remane the AAC file name from *.m4a to *.mp4. Upload the mp4 to your K700i and see whether I am bull shxting here. Good luck ;)

yes. u CAN convert mp3 into mp4.. it's the best way to reduce the file by 1/2 the size

Eugene, an MP3 file cannot be converted to MP4. MP3 is an audio file. MP4 is a video file.

I regret losing my K700i. The only drawbacks i found with the fone, are battery dying out fast. No Memory card slot. Otherwise this is the best fone. The camera clarity is amazing. And, even compressed sound files played brilliantly on this fone. Some of the songs i never liked, i started liking when i heard them on this fone, the bass effects are amazing, beautiful design, the back panel looks like a digital camera. Looks like a fone made of titanium or something. I was thinking of gettin the S700i(looks a lil funny thou) or K750i(launchin in Apr is what i heard) or W800i(but this one's being launched in Sept). I bet the W800i has amazing sound quality cos its a Walkman. Wotsay???

anyone having probs with the battery ???
Well here's one or two reasons.
your phone background: if its the moving one this takes a bit more juice, but its not the many reason.
notice the size of the colour screen conpared to others (not flip ones !!!). its quite large yeah. the bigger the colour screen on a small phone the more juice it will use.
go and compare it to other phones, i'll find im prob right..

I have downloaded all the games from the proposed site and the jad maker but when I unrar them a bunch of files appear. Do I send all of these files directly to the phone? The files are of .class type. This is java extension isn't it? Do I have to make them one file somehow? And something else. I am trying to download to the phone .sis files and I get an error. K700i does or not support .sis type files?

If you know how to compress or change MP3 to MP4, you will find K700 is just too good with its price and function.
I use iTune (Pls download from www.apple.com) to convert MP3 to MP4 (only 1/3 of MP3 size but same quality under 64 bit stereo). Now I have 30 songs in my K700i and still have space for my themes, games and pictures!

confused:
The different between cable, infra and bluetooth is the speed and upload limit. For cable only allow 32-60kb for upload and is the worst tool amount them. The best is bluetooth which is the fastest and has no limit on upload. Also you don have to install any programme to transfer data to the phone. That's the beauty of SonyEricsson. I just use my K700i as remote control for my presentation during meeting ;)

hi peepz! some questions here:
regarding data transfers:
what's the difference among using BLUETOOTH, INFRARED and DATA CABLE when downloading data or app (games, mp3s, videos, themes, pix, etc.) from my pc to my k700? what should i buy among the three?
regarding the video recorder:
y do ppol say dat its bad? is it rili dat bad? how bad is it?
regarding the memory:
typically, how many mp3s can the 41mb memory store? average?
