If I'm not wrong... You are able to change your phone covers at the Sony Ericsson care centre... But, I think the cost for the phone cover is around US 20 dollars. In my country, we can change our covers at some authorized phone shops

ive dropped the bitch twice! 1st time on a steel grating at work that dented the edge near the lense (~3mm deep)... it was permissable. 2nd time on holiday to a rugged concrete footpath... catastrophic. anyone know if there is a customer care that can replace to covers?

640x480 is only clearer than 1280x960 on the phones screen, cuz 1280x960 has too much detail (too big) for the screen to display well, hence the shitty look. 640x480 looks better because the screen has a 'smaller' image to display. you'll find if u display them on your comp 1280x960 is better, just looks worse on the phone.

I have had my K700i for nearly three months now. I complained about the battery life being very poor, like lots of others on here.
The good news is, the battery life gets better after each charge.
To begin with, it would only last 2-3 days, now I am getting 6-7 days with the phone being on 24 hours a day!
I use the calls/WAP/etc for at least 2-3 hours a week, so it was frustrating to begin with, but hang in there, things will improve. My wife's T610 lasts for 14-15 days on permanent standby as a comparison!
On the camera side, the 640x480 setting produces much better results than 1280x960, so steer clear of this setting!
If you can be patient for the battery to get into full capacity, then this is a gem of a phone.
However, there are very few phones these days, with excellent facilities and battery hungry screens that are as good as older phones for battery life!
It's disappointing that Sony Ericsson and others don't produce a high capacity battery as a optional extra!

I think it cannot play RM files.
However, this mobile is definetly massive, i've dropped mine 3 times to a stone floor at this new years eve party. Not even a scratch!

hey, ive had this fne for about 3 months now and i have to say over all this fone is brilliant! the only little hitch i wud say bout the fne is the quality of the camera! its described as 1.2mp, but in reality the quality is not as good esspecially when the image is in motion, it gets very blurry! Unfortunatly the same can be said for the video recorder, its pretty bad wat ever the condition, especially wen you move it around it gets very pixelated! esspecially on video play! Then again for a phone that cost this much and sum of the features it offers you can do alot worse with sum of the more expensive phones!! Buy it, well worth it!

By the way, the battery life is killing me. I am a cell phone heavy user in my daily basis, any advice? I need to have my phone standby 24 hours. My phone can't last more than 12 hours as it is now. Thats really a pain in my neck.
