phone is slow??? u sure u got the latest firmware?? i hav been using this phone for almost 2 months. it seems like i hav not face any problem wit this phone! overall its a very, very, very nice phone. the video, camera, mp3 player, radio, and all the shortcut keys r good as make it easy to navigate through the phone especially when it comes to taking pictures. the message T9 function is also very useful n easy to use. if u were to compare this phone to 6600.... compare the size. y do u need a bigger phone when u hav se700i which is much smaller?? 41mb will not b enough for ppl who wans to store lotsa mp... but hey... there's radio! u can always listen to music using the radio. just a thought!

To MULLY>
The 256 kbps of 6230 are dued to EDGE over GPRS technology, and in order to actually take advantage of that data transfer rate you need a provider that offers the same EDGE technology for your cell phone.

I agree about the memory size being smaller on K700, but standby is definetly superior to any nokia product, and I think this issue is a bit more important.

to spongi,
so no more a teenager huh,SE K700i is a great fone but the fone book and the mb....quite dissapointing,if u r a working aldult who wants a fone that can save untill more 1000 number, its look like a job for nokia 6230,im really agree of what u said about the fone shop thing,u cant test anything there and the seller will kept pursue u to buy it but actually u should do more investigstion first b4 u buy a handfone, its important bcoz everyone needs to find a fone that suits them and their condition{unless u r a millionaire}continue with nokia 6230,me myself is a nokia fan and of coz im a SE fan too, nokia 6230 promise u more place in the phone book-up to 1000 i guess, and with their expandable memory untill 512mb its suit a working ppl just like u,there is a few SE that is good but i don quite remember wat is it.probably T630,not sure about it.well, beleive me,nokia 6230 is really awesome u should go for it,but the bad is the small size screen.but u will get over it coz i use the fone too and i don really care about the screen when im using it.beside its work really fast-256kbps,twice faster than SE K700i with just only 48kbps.
think about it.

Mully,
Sorry for not to give enough info. I am already an adult, working at a company, having a lot of customers. Now I have got 465 names in my 6210 with more then 1 numbers per name. Sometimes 5 mumbers belong to a customer(factory). If I get a call, I like to recognise the caller's name.
Why decided K700i? Nice design, small form, good organiser, best LCD in this category. If you decide to buy a phone, you can test everything in the shop, and play with it for so many hours as you want. BUT filling it with all of your phone numbers, you do it, after you own it!

TO Spongi,
spongi,i know that u r dissapointed with the phone book of SE but r u a working aldult or u r a student/teenager?u see although the phone book memory that SE develop sucks but hey!how many friends do u have?510 items with 41mb is just enough, beside try and look at the good side of the fone, great camera, video recording and a awesome mp3.The "R" thing,do u mean dat if u hv 40 fren in ur fone {example} u can only store from "A" to "R",or is it if u hv 510 names u can only store from "A" to "R"?
which one?

Mully, I mean, I began to transfer the names via infrared conn from "A" to "Z". And I got only to "R". There was no more memory for the names beginning with letters "S", "T", ... "Z".
More exactly: Old Nokia 6210 can contain 5 numbers per name and 500 names, i.e. 2500 phone numbers. New SE-K700i can contain 5 numbers per name and 510 names, BUT all together max 510 phone numbers. It means, if you have 510 names, then you can store only 1 number per name. It is 1990 less than at Nokia-6210.
