1) buy a bluetooth adapter and install its software
2) install from the CD in the package the bluetooth modem drivers
3) pair the PC with the phone
4) contact your carier to help you "Set up a small or small office network" on your PC and to create the correct settings on your phone for the internet connection (because it differs a bit from the usual wap connection)
The result should be seen on your PC in "Network connections" as
Local Area Connection
Enabeled
Bluetooth PAN Network Adapter

So as I said I have this phone since feb 2006 and I got almost everything out of it. Users know it's not possible to minimise a java application, but I DID IT! and after minimising I started the camera and filmed until the screen has blocked showing a friky picture :)
After restarting the phone the recording had 2 frames per second :P What I did is impossible on K750. I'm good :D
Another cool fact. If you know, SE phones that have volume buttons on the side can control the volume of the minimised player anywhere in the menu or even in a java application. K700 can't. Well, I DID THAT 2!
And the 3rd thing i'd add - less extraordinaire - is that you are able to see .txt files with the K700.
If you want more info on these 3 facts, I'll go into details.
And I'll finish by telling you the hidden menu of the SE (any SE):
from the standby screen press right, *, left, left, *, left, *. This is not a joke, if it doesn't work, the joystick is faulty so try again.
So I demonstrated that programmers of the SE K700 software could have done more...

Starting with when K750 appeared this feature was no longer available :(

Yes you can, but you cannot send an already installed java application from one phone to another.
You can surf the web with your computer and download on the PC the java game. Then you just send it to your phone. Or, you can send the game from the PC to the "Other" folder on your phone and after that send it from the "Other" folder on your phone to another phone on wich it will be installed :)

I first tried a class mate's cable, but it transfered files with max 5 Kb/s. Totaly unacceptable. Try like myself a bluetooth adapter. This way it's more flexible and faster - 25-40 Kb/s.

The memory for messages is ~ 100-120 SMS (I don't know exactly) but these 100 messages are shared by Inbox, Drafts and Sent Items. Check all these folders and if there are too many delete some, or I recommend writing MMS to store in Drafts if you want to annotate something (because MMS uses the phones memory - enough for MMS =) )
I believe this phone cannot have viruses because it hasn't got an operating system.

3 years & still working. 2 years ago it was on service because it was loosing signal. pure batery life, joystick is crapy and have bad conections to charger and handsfree set. other than that- good, durable phone, i like the radio and 'flashlight'

Used this phone for 4 years and i am still using it! only complains are spoilt joystick and limited storage. dropped it, whacked it (due to frustration caused by joystick), thrown it (joystick too) and its still working!! haha! i'd have to say that it's a great phone, but the joystick is irritating. :)

I really love this phone, I used it for about 3 years...(except the limited memory,and message alert tone,and joystick) this is the best fone 3 years ago.. but I need to upgrade, I've plan to buy the K770i since the Photo Light is very useful for me, during emergencies.. k700 have very special features, but I wonder why SE remove that.. the Remote Control, coz I'll use to shutdown my PC using my Phone... bye-bye K700... but you'll always be remembered...hehehe

i used this phone for 3 misery years.just 3 days ago cannot started at all and i am surveying other phone.all these years i had problem during charging(u cant talk when u charge), short talk time, takes long time to open pictures folder, sometimes hang and after turn off it will take such a long time to on the hp. i hated the phone but i just hang on. before that i was using nokia 8550 for 5 wonderful years and when i change to this SE, it was all okay but i wanted to change just bcoz of latest technology in mobile phones that time like camera +mp3 sound.please dont buy this SE k700 for new or second hand...u will suffer even though u have all the functions there.

I had it past 3years guys... Its nice to use always...still its working good battery life,joystick... The drop backs are limited memory,cant assign msg tone.but its great to use at wap lots of downloads available... I enjoyed my 3 years with this compact devil;-)
