K700 is not comfortable for me, I have the same til now since Dec-2005, facing problems in joy stick(centre button),voice cut frequently,call missing,not getting the network,and etc. Right now it is out of order.I asked the respective service centre,and they are telling that, it can not be rectified and have to open the ic, it may be fully colapse and we are not responsible for the rectification,it may be allright after service or it may be worse then now. if you are giving the undertaking and etc will take the set for servicing.I really shocked in this. please suggest what to do.

I had this phone for 2.5 years ....my joy stick was replaced in SE showroom and after that i also face problem of phone restarts and shutdown it self.
Now i bought K530i

i had this k700i for couple of yours now, i dont have a problem with this phone..the only thing that i dont like it is the SMS tone that i cannot choose an mp3 format,or an audio clip to be my desired tone..

OK...First a phone have to be a phone... calling people and answering calls... and hearing the other person loud enough!
Biggest problem I have:
After 1 year of having this phone it happens to offten that when somebody calls me the phone shuts itself even with plenty of battery.
Often I was in certain crowded places and rarely I could understood what the other person said;
Plus, the rechgarge cable.. is kinda tricky.
Other then that, nice toy, has plenty of features.
But like I said, a phone first have to be a phone not a toy.

that was my first sony and i loved it. compared to all my phone i have and had the only bad thing was the camera

i used to have this phonr for about 2 years and never had any problems, in fact it was brilliant.
I did, however, swap it for a w300i, but unfortunatly, i have regretted this desicion ever since.
I am getting a k800i or k810i soon hopefully as it is the next step from this one and im hoping it is as reliable and brilliant as this phone was :)

I have a SE K700 before but i sold it to my uncle because i'm not satisfied with the camera. However, this phone has good mp3 player and loud speaker.

More i have k700i, more i like it. Right now, i am writting this review on it, using Opera Mini. The only problem with this phone is joystick, and lo-res camera, as user before desribed. This phone satisfies all the needs of even advanced users.

i m using this phone since two and half years and i would say that this is d best phone i had ever.it is a perfect mixture of all features.the camera though not magapixel,manages to take decent pictures.overall a gr8 phone

I have been having this mobile phone since jan 2007 and I am very contented from it. It's very nice phone. However it hasn't got USB or card slot, but it has got 41MB storage, and that is enough for one person. It takes clear photos and etc. And in the future maybe I'll buy another phone, but I won't leave it.

I'have been this phone for 1.5 years. It's good and more worth for it's price coz, it is having the most of the importamt features.
I'm suffering with it's joy stick. it's not working properly now. but It is replaceable.

never in your life buy this i have this phone for 2.5 years and lol no usb cable, very poor battery life, and only 41 mb internal memory, i got at 11k and engage classic was at 6.5k only. that was the true chapian phone. have 6233 the best nononsence phone. just buy it and will not regret it.

When I bought this cell phone two years ago, it was fine.
However:
Key response time could still be faster, though it's not really annoying (as with some other phones, where you wait for 1 full second before the phone responds to a key press)
Outside material now looks very worn. Like all my phones before it, I carried it in my Jeans pocket (and all of them showed the same attrition).
BIG ISSUE: the joystick broke last week. It has been getting worse and worse over the past monthes, but now it's really unusuable. SonyEricsson is aware of this problem. ONLY BUY THIS PHONE, IF YOUR VENDOR GIVES YOU A NICE GUARANTEE, say, 3 years.
Also, while the phone has a large memory, this memory apparently is not used for calendar entries. The number of calendar entries is limited to somewhere less than 999! This is really stupid, in my opinion... why not use the huge shared memory?? Which would probably be enough for a million entries...
By now, this phone makes only sense if you get it for less than 10euro.

Recently keypads dnt respond (may be it's a sign thats it's getting old)
Camera (not megapixel)
But Overall it's a great fone very dependable

loved this phone. only problem was the joystick kept breaking....was such a shame..after it broke i got a nokia and i regret it ever since.the camera,memeory everything about the features just dont compare to sonys..and it doesnt look as good.sony ericsson make the best phones and i will be buying the w580 very soon. looking forward to it!

It`s funny,despide all it`s problems,peolple love this phone,i do too, have it for 2years and a half,jystick is moody, original battery,still haven`t changed it...and it lasts for 3 days ,charger sucked,i changged it after 6 months,i bought a cheap one,non original...runs perfect.......great phone, no question about it...a true classic.
