And the 7610 also costs more and is in a totally different category =)... And about the megapixel camera, the 7610 does NOT have a good camera at all, it does haev a megapixel sensor, but then the lense is shit. Compare pictures taken with the 7610 at VGA res with those taken by the K700i at VGA res. The K700i as a VGA camera, it's quality still matches up with that of the 7610, which shows that the 7610 is just 'megapixel' for marketing purposes...

It has 41mb memory it records video as long as there is memory free. So unlike the 6230 whcih records poxy 15 second clips, this can record up to a 41mb clip! I have a full episode of the simpsons on mine. With 31mb still free!

I too have played this in-store - just got like 20(!) boxes in and they are a dream! Does everything the 6230 does but in a more stylish form. The 6230 is a black brick in comparison.
Was going to get one myself but I'm gonna be waiting for the S700 which I'm told will be in our stores in July!

Devil, comparing Symbian to K700 is stupid. Different class. Like saying a BMW 7 Series beats the Mercedes C Class, like DUH!
By the way, the K700 has a far superior camera when compared to the 6230 =)..

Pictures taken by both the K700i and 6230 are posted here. K700i's camera is much shaper and clearer.
I just saw bhushan's message whle typing this =).. Sorry, exams..
S70 will 100% be better, 320x240 versus 176x220, 41mb + memory stick versus 41mb?.. 640x480res camera versus 1280x960... celarly the S700 is better, but the form factor could be an issue, swirl...

Sigh.......very tempted to get this phone, but i had just gotten my Siemens SX1 and well..............the only downside is memory.....oh by the way this is a MOBILE phone and not a smartphone so the memory expension is not really ness and 41MB is enough, if you want more go buy a smart phone or MP3 player!

Played with the phone yesterday in Bangkok. Incredibly beautiful screen, the best i've ever seen. But cheap plastic casing, ringtones and MP3 play too soft, slow software. I'm still going to buy Nokia 6230.

This is the DADDY of all phones. What a cracking handset. Have been using it now for the last week on O2. Mpeg4/mp3 player. I have a full episode of the simpsons on this badboy. Good range bluetooth. With crystal i say crystal display and piccies. I'm a plane spotter, and with the 4x zoom i get some corking shots, i've got one where you can see the passenger's head as the plane flies over my house! WOW!. get this phone the java 3d gaming is the icing on the cake, 3d tennis complete 3d yes sir yes sir! love it. MD

forget only pixels.
just put the phones one aside the other to see that k700 is class.
if the extra card makes the phone run that slow then 42-64=22mb more or less its nothing and 6230its not stereo!
u r deceived devil dont try to deceive more. the only thing deceiving in k700 is the megapixel quality of extented fotos.on the pc screen apears like 1280x960 but u can tell it from colour its only VGA
