Nice phone. But no memory upgrade (MMC or SD or Memory Stick) ???
The Motorola E398 and the Nokia 6230 can upgrade. And to say it can compete the 6600 is really ridiculous :-)
It is a pity. Great design, much hope but then ....

About someone asking about buying it from eBay, not advisable... better get it properly through original sony ericsson supplier... for warrent issue, as SE is know for releasing updated softwares which improves on things.
The media player of the K700 supports mp3, mp4, 3gp and wav (with 16kHz as maximum sample rate).
When streaming music and videos from web sites, links have to be 3GPP compatible.

So far I have heard only good things about K700 & the killer prices in Malaysia. But I am not sure about the prices in Malaysia & the relaese date of it. Please keep me inform. My T610 was stolen last month & now I still don't have any phone I am waiting for it release & confimr prices. CAn't wait to know it.

This phone has some nice features although i am begining to tire of the candybar look, that most sony e's fall into....they all look too SIMILAR! I am sure they can think of a few other designs and dare to be different! Major plus point tho - all that memory!!!
