And one more thing.. 32 MB is MORE than enough.. Had a P800 a year ago (12+16MB) and never reached its limit. When you want to stash hours and hours of MP3's it won't be sufficient of course but then again.. buy an MP3 player..:)

Janno, just read what i mentioned before..
K700 beats the 6230 in everything except memory.. even that, k700 wins indirectly...
You pay more for the 6230 for memory.... at the same time less features... so you get 32+8mb on the 6230 right? If you want to upgrade to a larger memory, you have to throw away that 32.... and that's money wasted.. and if you are thinkign that you can keep the 32mb to swap.... you'll have to switch off the phone, open the cover, take out battery, take out card and so fort.. troublesome...
to add to it.. nokia's express on covers... it starts creaking and gets loose after a while... so much for solid feel...

HELP! I cant choose between this and the N6230. I really liked this phone when announced, but memory is important to me and the K700 doesnt seem to have enough. Although i do like sonyericsson menus as my past 2 models are se. If only the K700 had more memory...... I cud get the N6230 but i dnt like the looks and the screen is sooooo small. Build quality is also poor, my m8s 8210 cover wont fit bck on! So its gotta b the K700I if one does eventually come out. Does anyone know when this will come out?? Definetely not b4 the K700, rite?

DMX you are damn right! First I wanted to buy the 6230, but when I saw this phone, I changed my mind. I can wait for a couple months more to get a phone that's 10x better! I used to have lots of problems with the Nokia 8210 and it seems Nokia has only added features, without fixing the build-quality. That's a shame Nokia.

K700 has 40mb mememory.

Also, K700's video quality is better than the 6230...
K700's video capability's res goes up to 177x244 or something and is smootehr and not as compressed as 6230..
K700's screen res is much higer than the 6230.
K700 supports 3d games like that of symbian and ngage...
K700 has a better menu system (SE's new User Interface is DAMN nice)

K700 has a permanent housing (can be changed) so it has better built quality..
My friend has her 6230 for 2 over weeks now and her back cover is getting loose and starting to creak.... typical Nokia...
K700 has a cute built in light at the camera side =)...
K700's IR and Bluetooth is better... i know people who's 6230 is having problems with paring with some bluetooth devices....
k700 has nice brush metal design...
and all of you who are concern abuot the keypad, it's a very clear plastic, which at the bottom has a metal looking finish paint so it actually looks fantastic... better in real life.

The price is and will be 50 euros more than Nokia 6230. So, more money for less features. Nokia has also started lowering prices up to 25%. Soon the 6230 will have the lowered price too.

Klaas, I thought you said earlier that this phone will cost 375 euros. You stated it as a fact. As always your facts are as correct as your English. A shop just released the lowest price in Finland, 455 euros. They sell Nokia 6230 for 410 euros. So K700 will cost about 50 euros more than 6230.

SE K700 lacks Memory. too bad :(
Currently i'm using N6230. 11MB shared memory + 32MB mmc. My friend using 256MB not needed to format in 16fat.
What i'm trying to say is; K700 is stylish and have very nice features. But the MEMORY is very important in those kind of MULTiMEDiA phones. K700 gives an MP3 player and camera functions + very good but after all we are limited with so called 14MB :(( PLUS the image file memory management lack in Sony Ericsson phones. ( you are right woody )
14Mb with all those multimedia functions + memory management lack. NO WAY!! it's like " to have but not to hold " with that amount of memory.

I heard that the there will be a K700i, and that will come out befoer the K700 as if you want to be formal, the K700's actualy name is K700i or something.. heh.. i for otehrs and K700c for chinese or somethign.. no idea.. =P
