regarding the "freeze" problem of my phone, actually, the store didn't replace it (to my great dismay), they only had it fixed...grrr! got the the phone back after a week i returned it. according to the store they just "reprogrammed" (or something)it...now its doing fine... hopefully, i will not encounter the prob. again.

i have k700 for a month and i hate the camera: i tried all resolutions and options but pictures are full of noise and edges on objects are realy bad (last year i had siemens cx65 and pics were much much beter) on k700 i like radio & bltth but memory is too way to shoort for mp3! Good phone but if camera is important for you just pass it!

Got this phone for Christmas. It's definitely a good buy from where I come from, considering that I got the retail version. My firmware is the latest official one, R2AY004, and has the continuous restart bug. I got it activated by running a Siemens java game on it at the beginning of this year. After one week I fixed the problem by doing software flashing. What you need is a service cable, and not a data cable. You can modify the data cable (buy a cheap chinese one for this) for this, and there are a few tutorials for doing it. All you need is a wire stripper, some paper, solder and a soldering iron. I had this available at home, and modded my cable. Then you can flash your phone as much as you want (great fun; bad for your battery), unlock it, and so on. Alternatively, I could have brought my phone to a service centre. Anyway, to use this phone to its full extent, you must be patient, search forums for advice... Definitely not for some stupid Nokia user. There is so much you can do with this phone, while there is quite a lot you can't.

this is an excellent phone. the graphics are ace and it good to use. the only flaws with it are the amount of memory and the volume but what can you expect it's well cheap for the standard of phone that nit its so it cvant be perfect. i'd recomen this phone to anyone.

yes you can do phone to phone bluetooth on this phone, and with everyone's "freeze" feature it's not common, if the experts have a name for it and not a cure then it's where you bought it from that created this problem!

Hi 'jag' you're lucky that you got it replaced as you just bought it ... mine is 6 months old.
Anyone from SONY ERICSSON can help to give guidelines about how to settle this problem!!! I saved a lot to buy this phone ... and now, I'm out of nowhere. I need to get it repaired!
PLEASE HELP.

Hi .. that's WAS a good phone. in fact recently my fn got 'freezed' - this is the word technicians use. The problem was that as soon as I put it on, insert my PIN ... it remained showing 'SEARCHING' and the key pad stops working ... you can't even turn it off with the switch ... the only way is to remove the battery!!
Anyone of you had the same problem? Please help!
