To spanky: Either your really blind or have no taste in good cell phones. I mean how can u wright such bad comment about the SE k700i. i think the phone captures good pictures for a vga camera. if u really find the SE k700i bad then u wouldn't know what a great cell phone is when it hit u in the face I just can't understand your taste in cell phones.

Hello all.. I regretted buying this fone.. :( I will give u guys the reason why.. Its got limited memory space for mp3 and video files at 41mb capacity.. What is Sony thinking? The camera is very poor especially when taking pics at night.. And the pixels needs to be lowered in order to use the digital zoom.. The battery life drains quickly when playing games.. U got a loud sound when taking a pics. Even with silent mode u can't mute it.. I am depressed. I am going to trade it with the mighty symbian fone, Nokia N70 or the N91. I feel sorry for people owning this fone..

SE K700i is just the perfect for the most affordable phone ever. The Bluetooth and IR is amazing... the camera is just fair but it can get better quality in the outdoors. What makes me discourage is, we can't clean the camera lens... and I guess the molds are clearly seen... can we clean this up? and the Quickshare sticker is gone as it easily detached. But to top it all, it is really great...

USB has pathetic transfer rates. Bluetooth has got amazing transfer rates not to mention the convenience. Phone is pretty cool. Faced only one problem as yet: the battery life. With average usage the battery meter starts shrinking within a days time.

oh yea.. forgot.. get yourself a bluetooth dongle to transfer files between your phone and computer.. it is way better than the usb .. transfer rate is fastest with bluetooth

i really like this phone, absolutely gorgeous. calendar bugs me a bit but its a minor minor flaw. i need help with putting mp3s on my phone, matthew's mentioned mp3 compressors but i dont know which to choose tho i've already googled it twice. plus my PC has neither bluetooth nor infrared, so should i get that data cable or a usb one, and anyone know how much they cost in asia/australia? lastly the pc suite cd that came with my phone isnt working, i'm wondering which of the programs on it is worth downloading from the SE site. its a really great functional phone, chose it based on the reviews on this site and have found its really good value for money, esp for the decent camera, best available in its price for sure. even if 41mb isn't a whole lot, it is excellent value. cheers

Hi, could someone tell me how the phone works overall and what you could compare it to because ive heard a lot about sony ericsson joysticks not functioning in a few months . Has anyone faced any hardware or software problems ? or any Proggraming defects in this phone . For example , a person i know updated his w800i firmware and now he uses his phone as a paper weight. And what colours is this phone REALLY available in India.
Thank You,
Shreyas
