Hussam i would recommend this phone out of the 4 you stated but i would say you should get the K750i but if it's too expensive get the K700i, yes you can download true tones (MP3's) however do not get this phone on Vodafone or else your gonna have to go through alot of updating etc, and the phone is a good phone, 41mb internal memory (no memory card slot), unlimited video recorder (record until memory runs out, up to an hour!), radio, VGA camera (0.3 mega pixel), MP3 player, bluetooth connectivity, Infra-red and many more features...

yeah rite.. 20 mp3... which can be done only in a bluetooth transfer.. leading to high battery consuming, limiting due to da pathetic space and slower apart from using a card reader that never can happen.. the only good thing bout this junk is da design, lightness and aluminium feel.. features is all there but with inconveniency provided!! and that is fact!!

For every single negative comment in these postings I suggest you get your phone updated for free with the new firmware R2AY004. It did have a few bugs I agree but after this update every single one of those niggles are gone especially battery life. The only irritant that remains is the puny unsure joystick. Bye

two of the so talked about features in this phone are pathetic and thts a fact. the mp3 is there solely to make spectacular fools out of folks like the one here everyone knows already. with just 40MB, mp3 is a crude joke. and the camera takes remarkably low quality grainy pics. the zoom again is a joke as u cant use it for the 'high res' pics. so whts the point anyway?
and then this guy LiBi comes and talks abt infra red cables...!! well just goes on to show what kind of mistaken souls are awed by this piece of junk.

Diane firstly you have to have a USB Cable or an SE data cable (one of the 2, but i strongly recommend the USB Cable, secondly go on this link http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=gb&lc=en&ver=4000&template=ps1_1&zone=ps&lm=ps1_1&pid=10139 and read the site carefully...where you see update service click on that, you should understand the rest because once you have updated your phone the ringtone volume ascending feature will be gone and you will be able to set MP3's as your ringtones!

You see Ben & Sam, look what Cormac just said...true it might be an opinion but he also said no one should by it and it's junk...and i will defend that as not being true! You understand now?

Piece of badly designed JUNK
Just swapped my k700i for a very basic nokia fone. Much happier as the last 6 months this phone has been crap. Only thing it has is its looks good and promises alot (did my research beforehand and thought it looked great on paper)
Problems: Battery must be charged everynight even with minimal basic use/ without using bluetooth/ cameras/radio.
Phone software: Painfully slow, drags and stalls when going thru phonebook names. Stops for about 2 seconds then jumps down about 10 entries. Text messaging is a pain; doesnt keep up, so you cant see what u are writing- gave up using it for texting in the end.
40 mb memory: You dont get the full memory, its more like 35 mb, as the ringtones/pics etc take up space. Also very difficult to get anything on/off phone. You will need Digital rights management for any songs you do eventually get on to the phone.
Messages: Messages disappear after you have saved them as drafts. When you re-edit them there is no option to resave and if you back up they sometimes vanish.
Photo quality is very grainy. No zoom-in on saved photos. Make sure you have plenty of time, if you want to scroll thru your camera pictures. Folder will show 4 on each page and takes about a minute to load next page.
Buttons: The tempermental buttons had to be pressed 2 or 3 times on the phone before they worked. Try not to use the control stick for shortcuts, as it brings you UP instead of LEFT and so on. In short a nightmare but not as annoying as the slow texting/phonebook drag.
All in all, the phone's navigation is not intuitive and it doesnt get any easier even after 6 months. You can spend ages looking for something like "Delete all messages" to find it isnt even an option on the phone. Feels like its designed by an 8 year old.
Take my advice- dont get this phone, as you'll regret it. I did.

Infact let me go unto the Nokia 6230i post now and show you how the Nokia fans react to such a comment!

Thats true Sam, but Ben dosen't do that he just instantly assumes the phone is crap because of that one fault, it's like me saying the 6230i is carp because of it's small screen and low quality...Nokia fans qouldn't like that would they...i didn't think so and i myself can admit that the K700i has its faults (What Phone Dosen't?) it has 41mb memory...(a limited amount of space, which in some cases affects alot of people, specially those who love to listen to MP3's or take alot of pictures), the battery life for most is terrible, but i do not deny that i just tell them ways in which to solve that problem, then Ben appears and says i am obssesed with this phone...SO WHAT? If you've got a problem with me loving this phone keep it to yourself i am nto interested! Last but not least the camera isn't something to brag about but if you keep it still and use the perfect size on a sunny day then everything will look good...who's next?
