@Chayon:go to equalizer when playing song and select Megabass then u notice how much sound quality have affected by r1db001 firmware,megabass is not workin.

I have upgraded my new Sony Ericsson K750i phone to R1DB001 firmware last night; haven't notice anything bad. Sound quality seems great as before but a bit louder. Camera pictures look great. I think the complaint about sound quality is not relevant. But the process took a hell lot of time as i am using a dial-up internet connection.

just bought a brand new k750i, it powers up but the screen is blank. I can't even use the phone. Anyone knows why the screen is blank?

How do i know which firmware i have and which is the latest firmware? How do i shut of the sound when u click a pic (i.e. shutter sound) Also the time is difficult to read (80% screen brightness) can it be made to appear in a band like the Nokia phones or on a white background. This phone is really good except it is a bit delicate like the handsfree has already started giving a problem.

In the Service menu there is a nother sub menu "Text lable". Could you Plz tell me about this. I select some of these commands. But nothing has happend.

K750i is the most wonderful mobile i ever had.you won't beleive that i have used many mobiles but till today i love k750i most just because of its great functions and performence.since it has all the things which one can imagine to have.though 2day i don't have this mobile but i still love it most.

This is a one the best camera phones but the major problem is it's joystick. That is not reliable.

Best fone i'v ever had, but may be a bit dated by now. If u can get good deal on it, go for it. The joystick does get stuck sumtimes cos of dust, but if u just pat it, it's good to go again for another couple of months

I can't use any Java software like - Mig33, Gmail Apps... it says-
"this program requires a data connection, plz contact ur carrier..."

Some Tips for clicking quality pictures___
Under room conditions, i.e. indoors, if there is sufficient light, clicking the picture with Fluorescent Settings, brings about some clarity to the picture. You can find this under white balance. Even under sufficient room light (artificial light) there is noise because of lack of sunlight___
Do not use Night Mode and Flash Together. Night mode makes the frame rate very slow in the view finder. The auto focusing also becomes slow. When using flash the picture taken just becomes extra white and you cannot see anything clearly___
When taking pictures in pitch black, try to take close-ups with macro mode on and flash on. All the night pictures examples given above are taken in pitch black situations___
When in artificial lighting conditions, like in a room, you can take pictures with Night mode on. It makes the picture look brighter and also reduces noise. You can try the fluorescent setting with this and see if it improves the picture quality. It should be noted that while in Night Mode, the camera should be absolutely steady for optimum performance___
When clicking close-ups, keep a distance of at least 8cm to 10 cm. if you are too close the auto focus doesn t set into place properly___
When using flash under pitch dark conditions (low), the picture might turn out to be yellowish sometimes. To correct this you can choose Incandescent under White Balance___takecare
