Undoubtedly its a marvellous piece of technology, but the greatest demerit with its limitation of playing video file. Except .3gp none other can be played. Mpeg or .dat files can't be played directly. Video Files when transferred to phone after conversion gives the most poor result. Rest is praiseworthy. If anybody can say the possibility about playing other video files except .3GP please mail me at arindamnth@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Love this phone, but camera is terrible in nite shots, the joystick is a little fragile and mine died just days out of the 1yr warranty.. Set my alarm, woke up and it wont turn on. Software corrupted?? Either way, write off.
Wish it still worked..

Why is the zooming is not working when a large pic size is selected? This is possible in W800i. As i noticed in an article in this site, both the phones have the same camera.( no differences at all).. But this zooming does not work only in k750i.. i dnt know abt older phones as gaurav says which had this zooming facility..

k750i...awesome phone.all in one package,i think you just have to be careful with the joystick...thought the volume is not that loud when you used the speaker, but hey they got headphone and its pretty loud.the camera,very nice..it is crisp and clear.cant ask for more...except games..hahahahaha

About the memory card : 4GB is the max. available in the market presently. Sony has recently exibited 8GB in a trade fair in san francisco but is still waiting to be launched in market. Sony claims that 64GB is possible in its class of pro-duo.But for K750i 8GB shall be max. supportable. 8GB is a lot of memory, So no worry about memory guys.

Gaurav you are wrong. The phone has 4x zoom, but it works depending on your selection of picture size.Go to settings-picture size. Selecting 'large' wont allow you to zoom but with 'medium' and 'small' you can.

the newer versions of this phone do not have zoom at 2mp. the phones at launch time could zoom. i dont know why SE have done such a thing. its stupidity. bringing the cost down and taking away such an important function.
the joystick needs to be protected from dust and also try to use it as little as possible. the menu can be navigated wit number keys also so learn that.
i've brought this phone for the second time, so i know these things. only reason is the sound quality thru earphones, its better than any other walkman phone without doubt.

Hi! This phone is the nicest phone i ever saw! I am going to buy it, but I want to now something.Can enyone tell me if the zoom button on the right side works also as a volume button? and if the digital zoom of the camera can be used at the higest quality
of the picture(2Mp).
NO the zoom only works on medoium or small size an yh it dose work as a volume buttom

Well it`s very interesting this phone, but the joistic...3 months i have this phone and the joistic is down baby down... The camera is wonderful, it can take very interesting pictures... k750i ROCKS ;)

I owned K750i for about 10 months now. It is a great phone: Reception's decent, great OS interface, compact (In a way...), great pictures (Comparing with other cameras). It really worth the money (Especially now since th price has dropped so much.)
However, the joystick, which other users already mentioned, is a serious problem. After about 8 months of using the phone, the joystick stop the quick response, and I've to press really hard to get it to response to the *clicks*. You'll eventually send a "down" signal by the joystick, but it may take couple of HARD tries.
If I'm gonna get a phone in the future, I'll definitely look for something like K750i - great functionality + quality, but without the joystick control. :)

When the picture size is maximized(1632*1224 - Large), i cannot zoom in the camera picture. It gives a msg 'Zoom is not available when large picture size is selected'... but as i heard w800i and k750i camera have the same camera. But in w800i this zooming is possible even when the large pic is selected.. Can someone tell a way to get rid of this in k750i..? thx.. :-)
