I'm thinking of getting this fone in the next few weeks. Can anyone guarantee to me that the joystick would last for at least a year or so. I have a K700i right now and I'm impressed with the sound quality of SE compared with Nokia. I'll be upgrading for more memory capacity and camera resolution. Hope to hear from u guys. Thanks.

Well, i m thinkin 2 buy d phone but i like features of this phone and design of k700. a negativ feature is that it dont enables expres on coverz n they left very less space after the upper ending of screen.. anywys but i m impressed for the features n i m gona buy it

this fone has awesome features but it wrecks to easily, mine has wrecked 4 times. the last time it wrecked sony ericsson didnt even fix it. they sent it back to me unrepaired saying i put water in it and making up lots of excuses not to fix it. so if ur wondering if i should get this fone think again!!

Secondly, does a 1gb memory stick enhance d phone performance beside capacity?
What's d different between a high speed pro duo n a normal 1?

i just wanted to know where can i get mp4 n 3gp converter (full version not the trial) since my k750i does not support mpeg format n how to convert mpeg to 3gp ie at what frequency should be selected so i can get good video clearity

Don't buy W700.. The camera has NO AUTOFOCUS whereas the K750i despite being an 'old' phone has it..

That´s right, K750 it´s an old phone.....but you can update it with W800 software and it will have the same options than the w800. Then you´ll have a black walkman phone with a good camera. Just buy a Memory Stick with 1 or 2 gigas! Bye

That's good to know Raghu. Guess I'll have to upgrade the software to the latest version to use that search function. The fones are getting better faster.

I am using This Kool Gadget for 4 months and it is wooooow mp3 player is a bomb n cam is also kool i am using 512mb it works perfectly
i need to know how is the 4gb high speed memory card is it going to slow down the phone or it works perfectly some one please help me its "URGENT" thanx in advance....

Yes u can search the phone book now keying in the entire name, it is a great phone to have. no need of Ipod if u get a momory stick of 2 gb

Has SE fixed the K750i problem of only allowing search of the contact by the first alphabet only? It should not be difficult to fix (used to program firmware). Wonder if we can all start a movement to get them to fix it if it hasn't been done?

Can someone pls tell me if we can use a security code to lock the keypad...so that nobody else has access to my fone.

How can I lock my SE K750i completly, so if another person not me want to spy my phone information, first have to put the security code, is that possible in this phone ? Because I tried all the ways to lock the phone, but is very easy to go in, you just have to put * and unlock botton and you can go into the phone, I need if is possible another way to lock my phone like anothers cell phones that everytime that you want to use it , you have to put a code, please help me with this matter. By the way how can I put videos into the MS 512MB, and where in this phone can I see the data that is into the memory MS, thanks !
