First I'de like to thank you all who started to actually participate in here, turning this forum to an actual forum instead of just Q & A pages.

I've read all your postings, but there are some inaccurate answers in some of your postings, so forgive me if I had to re-answer the original questions once again.

Well said man, but you know it's not always Nokia vs. SE or any mobile manufacturer vs. another mobile manufacturer, it's just "choose what will suite you the most".
For example, if anyone needs EDGE or 3G support option in his phone, just search for another model that has EDGE and/or support 3G ... Will this make SE K750 a bad model/choice or worse than others "in general" ??

Some questions are already answered, but some are either not answered or answered inaccurately, so check the rest of the page to get to them.
1. T9 is simply an option similar to "auto-complete" option in your net browser, it reads the first letter or two which you enter in the SMS then match it with its data base and give a list of the words that starts with this letter(s), you can manually add new words to its data base -check the manual to learn how to do so-.
2. Already answered, but for the sake of simplicity, it's an option through which you can copy/sync. your contacs, notes and tasks with your PC.
3. The phone notebook can be able to hold 500 numbers, either in all or per contact -not in K750-, K750 spec. is 500 contacts with 20 fields each.
4. The loud/built in speaker is indeed loud, but it's mono not stereo.
5. RDS allow your device to receive digital information from the FM station, basically, the name of the singer and song that is played now -if the FM station has this option-.

- As it came to my conclusion from the first day in which it has been released, D750 doesn't have flight mode, but search for this info. to be sure about it.

Assuming that you're able to successfully send/receive data before the firmware update, and that your PC settings are identical to what it used to be before firmware updating, then it could be a new form of the known old USB cable bug -assuming that they didn't update your firmware to the very latest one "R1BC002"-.
Before dealing with this conclusion/suspect, uninstall your PC Suite and run a new clean install to it, also install the USB Cable Driver Update -from somewhere in www.sonyericsson.com in support page-, also contact SE about it.

BOTH Sony and Sandisk have wide selections/offers/products for both memory types.

People who are looking for the movie converter

Download the trial version of imtoo or anything else...and use any song downloading software (ex. dc++, kazaa, limewire etc. ) and search for the registration software key for the trial version...this way you can convert the whole movie with no probs...thats what i did...peeZ

dude be patient. DoUL is helping everyone he can. maybe the reason why did not answer your battery question is because its been asked befor further back? Altho we do try help as much as we all can, it can get frustrating when people ask a question when it is asked and answered 2 pages back. sometimes its better to do the homework yourself..

anyways. about your battery problem.
the more you use the phone for the more you will drain and after you stop, the battery balances out and returns to its "true" power figure. once you use the MP3 function, this will drain alot, continues SMS/MMS, photos etc, all takes a strain on the battery

altho, it says its got a 9h talk time, this all depends on how compleat the bat was charged, and what you have done before the call on the phone. either way, the phone last long enough IMO.

the K750 uses a 3GP file recording. this is not the best recorinding format (MP4 is alot better quality) but it will look ok when watching it on the phone or quicktime with a small screen. the display on the phone is 176 x 220 pixels so its not that big anyways.

about the memorycards, there are two brands.
the Sony Memory stick DUO or the Scan Disk DUO.
these come in the sizes of 64mb,256mb,512mb, 1gb and 2gb. hope that helps you.

Recently i had a major malfunction with my keypad on the SE-K750i... the left and right menu buttons and the buttons below them (back button and cancel button) all 4 buttons stopped working ... i took it to Vodafone where i bought it and they had it fixed, i was also suprised to find out the place that fixed it also upgraded the software, upgraded the joystick and replacd the entire keypad foil. i find with the sytem upgrade, it doesnt get the WSOD (white screen of death) like it did probably 2 times a week.. i seriouly recomend everyone with this phone ask your retailer for a system upgrade on this phone...One problem i am having is the connection to the phone from my computer when i try to download pictures from my phone, sometimes it has trouble and fails and i have to reset the computer and start again... i changed my COM PORT setting to only allow (COM 1 PORT) to be open... is this correct? .....The SE-K750i is a heavy duty phone and it has taken a bit of a beating from me, but is by far for me a better experience than Nokia and i dont think i can ever go back... :-)

get the imtoo dvd to 3gp as it is better than xilisoft , yes it is worth buying , yes the movies u make are as good quality as tv if u change the settings i will post the settings on here soon.

RDS technology is sending small amounts of digital information using conventional FM radio broadcasts. One of its usages- In FM broadcast, you would have seen the same signal broadcasted in two different frequencies by two different stations. RDS in mobiles helps to auto-tune the FM to get the strongest signal.
6.If you compare to Samsung X700,which would you choose?
X700 has EDGE, Bigger screen size, only 1MP camera
K750 has 2MP best quality camera, good sound (headphones), No EDGE

well i didn`t remember all the things you asked about but here`s some info:

t9 is a dictionary that completes the words for you while you`re writing them. i find it pretty anoing but thankfully, it can be turned off.
you can enter 500 names and 20 numbers to a name i think [correct me if i`m wrong]
the headphones ARE stereo and the sound is ok [i went to test it]
radio with rds is a radio that can search radiostations for you I THINK!
i`m just trying to help if i`m wrong, i`m sorry.
@doul...well i`m surfing trought pages and pages for half an year...so yeah...i`ve seen web sites about the camera too. i`ve even seen the comparisation pages btw n90 and k750i/w800i in this site..and even thought the comment is that k750i is better...i can`t help liking the n90 pictures more..may just be a confusion...anyway n90 is too expensive for what it actually is cuz it has nothing better than this one than maybe a few things but it has worst things all the same..
so whatever k750i will be the one or d750i but if it hasn`t got the walkman mode than i should get the k750i..
the ferrari is pretty nice thought check the enzo one [it`s my favourite!]

Hi Jack!

Thanks for the pointers. As yet, i havt decided to buy online Xilisoft or Imtoo DVD to 3GP converters. I guess im not really sure if these are worth the $30. I tried the demo and it works though at a less than ideal quality. Under demo, you cant modify the settings as you have prescribed. I ripped a 3 hr movie in 1 hr. Is it really worth it? I the quality really good? Thanks again bro.

for me thi s is the best 2 megapixel phone why?
it hdas a cheap price its onlyrp2.8999000 i n indonesia while the competitors with the name Nokia has a product likely more i 1million rp but has bad quality according to j Benmark test for the photo quality this phone i s petter than n70 and n6270 which is the competitors and its weight only99grm
with yhe exclucsive eye catching colour
and the memory can be expand up to 2 gb
This is the wonderful phone
so dont choose Nokia brand only win by its market share
but Sony ericson is the best one in the world trust me

Why The F did you even think about updating the firmware with a bugged PC ??!!!
It's not the battery, you just "SMARTLY" unplugged the phone during the actual firmware files replacing, so now the phone can't find it's booting files so it can't boot.

yeah k750i is great give it 9 out of 10
the phone that gets 10 for me is nokia n90 cuz the pictures are a bit better and it`s a bit better looking..i like the phones with tv too thought...but i don`t even look at them have you seen the prices !?
@doul you should try a porcshe carerra gt it`s amazing!
