is there any software or framware that can record mp4 movies with K750i or better quality than 3GP.....please tell me !
that`s my only problem with my SE K750i
i want the best quality that K750i can get

I dont know about the hpb-70 but after a quick google it seems it maybe the same thing. Hpm-70 comes with the w800.

Stereo ear-phones are you refering to the in-ear headphones that come with the hpm/b-70? You recommend using them over the loudspeaker. If loudspeaker is playing through the speaker of the k750 well thats not what Id do anyway. I want to use the hpm-70 with standard earphones if they are good. I havent tried the in-ear earphones b4 and not sure ill like it. Will test them if I get the hpm-70.

ive been reading the comments, and havn't found what im looking for. I want to know how long the phone (battery) lasts when playing mp3. i was told that it sucks and only lasts for 30 minutes, but i dont believe that. can someone verify?

Awesome phone! But anyone know how to remove the operator logo? Blueskyfrog used to have the option to do it, but it appears to be gone!

hi! anyone here who has 1gb ms pro duo on their k750i? does it make the fone slower and hang? ill w8 for the answers.. tnx!

oh 1 thing.. my mxe-60 doesn't work anymore.. i've been using it for 2 weeks.. im sure ive given it enough care but 1 day the flash isn't working.. but the fone can read the accessory.. thus, it still wont flash after a still shot.. anyone has this prob? can the mxe-60 be repaired?

greattt phone...really...i hav been using it for the past one month and found it fabulous the least said...however i am worried about the joystick as i had this experience of joystick getting out of order very soon of my k300i...sony people would have to do something to improve this joystick thing bcoz almost all thier models contain joystick

I don't know, this is really weird !! It should start then give any error if anything is wrong, but not starting at all is very weird !!
Make sure that you uninstall it then install it properly -means that you uninstall it then restart the PC then install it then another restart to the PC- and see what will happen, also make sure that your PC meets the minimum requirements of the package -found on the page from which you downloaded it in SE web site linked from support page-, and make sure that you have the latest flash player installed -from www.macromedia.com- and that you have a running JAVA engine on your OS -http://masrawy.com/chat/java/ms_vm.zip-, and of course that your phone is installed properly on your PC -if your phone isn't installed on your PC, check my post addressed to "maani" down this posting-.
If it still didn't work, contact SE about it.

I know about HPB-70 not HPM-70, if this model is what you mean, then don't worry about it, it only distorts in the highest volume level in the media player -especially in the base elements- when the equalizer bars are set to their highest levels, this has NOTHING to do AT ALL with the clarity of voice calls, it's as crystal clear as any of us would like it to be.
Stereo ear-phones are RECOMMENDED to use than the loud speaker, they are louder, charper and of higher quality than the one-channel mono loud speaker in both media player play-back and in phone calls.

1: Yes, there are regular updates to K750 firmware, you have to install your SE K750 mobile on your PC first-you have to make sure that your PC is actually seeing/sensing the mobile and is able to send & receive data to & from it- in order to be able to update the firmware.
To do so follow the following steps, 1st, the PC Suite -found in the bundled CD- should be installed with the phone NOT plugged into the PC,
2nd, The phone should be switched OFF and C key is firmly pressed when plugging the USB cable into the phone for the 1st time after the PC Suite has been installed,
3rd, there is a USB Cable Driver Update in SE web site located somewhere in Support page that should be downloaded.
Now, after installing the PC Suite and plugging the phone into the USB cable, "Found new hardware wizard" should start -if it didn't start and the phone switched itself on, then C key wasn't pressed tight enough-, to install the first found hardware, point to the place of the downloaded USB Cable Driver Update, for the rest of found hardwares point to the bundled CD.
Now, go to www.sonyericsson.com, choose your region, country and language, go to Support page, choose your phone model -K750-, now you should be able to find a link named "Sony Ericsson Update Service", click it and download the "SEUS" package, after downloading it connect your phone to your PC via the supplied USB cable -make sure that the phone is switched ON to have the USB cable driver updated as well-, now install the "SEUS" package and then restart your PC.
You should be able to find an icon on your desktop named "Update Service", just click it and follow the simple, easy and straightforward instructions which the program tells you.
Check my post addressed to "Sunny" in this same posting to know further info. about the expected errors and what to do about them.
2: Yes, you can decrease the video capturing resolution from 176*144 to 128*96, but you can't increase it higher than 176*144.
3: Yes, there is a built in "My friends" messenger into the K750 OS that will communicate with other K750 added users, but if you want another "global" messengers, check this page and you'll find what you seek:

4: No, not as far as I know, google it and maybe you'll find something.
5: No.
6: Because it works as the radio antenna/receiver.
7: Still shots:
- Macro mode always "ON";

- "HIGH QUALITY VIDEO" shoot mode;
- Macro mode always "ON";

Both cases:
Auso focus should be used -half press to make the lens focus, full press to capture-.

Yes. There is a problem in Joystick. I bought K750i two months back. Now, my joystick is not working properly.Its really hectic after spending this much amount.But other than that all other things are more than expected. SE has to solve the joystick issue atleast in future phones.

2:can the resolution of the VEDIO be changed?increaded to b precise?i think samsung D600 n N90 offer much better vedio resolution.

Can someone here with the hpm-70 post your opinion on it. I read somewhere that it causes distortion in sound. Is it any good if you dont use in-ear earphones or wateva?

the update service is not worin on my comp, in the sence it does not open if i double clik on the icon!!, i hav tried uninstallin and reinstallin the software but it does'nt work, can anyone help me on this issue???

Of course I don't mean the whole/global majority of K750 owners/users, I only know 2 friends of mine that own a K750.
I ment the majority of K750 that post/share their opinions in this forum, they aren't all complaining about the joystick.

It has an unknown JAVA OS built by SE, it doesn't run a Symbian OS, Windows Mobile OS or a Linux one, it's just a custom made/built one by SE guys, but believe me, it really does the job so well.

I used to believe that you can't have anyone browse your data from his device -no matter what it was-, and that belief has been proven true from the K750 review in www.mobique.com.
You can have your phone as a P2P phone no more, now you can only send and receive the data which you and the other party want to share -means that you have to select and send the data to him manually and he has to manually select and send it too-, so you don't need to lock them, because no one can browse them no matter what.

No man, dust has nothing to do with it, they either hard push it or they receive their phones with faulty joystick units that start to malfunction early, or even start to malfunction in one direction or even all directions just after a few weeks.
You just use it gently and it will react smoothly, no need to push it hard, and don't worry you can replace it anytime should you feel it needs to be replaced.

if u want to have another good review on this phone (k750) or any other phone, u can go to the link that was shared by Dani http://www.mobique.com here u can find the best phone for u and ur daily needs. but if u are to ask me even w/ a good budget, w800 vs k750i... ill gate the k750i. i used to have w800 but i swap it w/ the k750. And one more thing, K750i got 5star on the review. (info 1st shared by a nameless guy)

Doul told me that SEphone uses an OS design by SE. alhough i think the p600 and the likes
(touch screen phone) has a handago OS but im not quite sure if its an OS ur just a program used to run other common software. i think Doul can verfy more on this.

hi gio,

if you wanna stick/switch to sony ericcson and your budget allows you, I will recommend u to take w800i. If you are abit tight, then settle for k750i.
