My K750i don't have the quickshare logo found below the phone. Does that make a difference?

if u buy it from another dealer u will get a discount of 1000 - 2000 Rs but w/o external flash and w/o bill. So i recomend u to buy it from exclusive sony showroom

No, it's free to download and free to use, it's a P2P (Peer2Peer) program, technicaly you download from other users of Kazaa, Kazaa is only the connection/bridge between you and them, so it costs nothing for the users. I recommend you Kazaa Light instead of full Kazaa for full Kazaa has lots of ads. and spywares while its Light version is safe enough and has all the features of the full version.

You can only upgrade to the latest firmware if you upgraded through SE update service which is located in SE web site in support page, I don't know any other place through which you can upgrade your firmware, I don't think that it will be safe either, anyway the latest firmware R1AA008 will do exactly what you seek/need. As been written before, you can flash your K750i into W800i firmware no more. Both versions firmwares have the same name "R1AA008" though, but each version differs from the other for the two models are different.

As jack wrote, you need to install the PC Suite which is in the CD that is bundled with your K750i, then go to SE web site and download and install USB Cable Driver Update, after that, once your plug your phone in the USB cable your pc will identify it and you'll be able to transfer files between them.

jean you need to update either your media player or quicktime player for the videos from your phone to be stored on your pc install the pc suite/cd in box transfer via usb cable.

im looking for a firmware that will improve the video recording and playback, which one is the best for me and where can i download it?? will it work for a w800i and a k750i??

LOL, guys are gals or that's what I think -not American or British I'm just an Egyptian so I'm not sure about all your abbreviations, though I spend a lot of time in yahoo chat !-. I think it had to be gals and gurls, is it right this time ??!! -grrrr I think I'll take the easy way and say guys and girls-.
Anyway, not to waste the space in a side talking, I'de like to inform you that I've upgraded the firmware into R1AA008 just today. The overall performance feels faster -especially while drawing animated pic's and fast moving between them-, but I have to test it for a couple of days to tell my final opinion.

haven't took place with me in my device -notice the word "some users" in bugs description!- but the problem of zooming function doesn't work with pic's highr in resolution than 1632*1224 seems to be present, I tried to zoom a JPEG pic of 3200*1200 but no zooming was available. I think it's more general than that, I have pic's of the same resolution 176*220 of different formats (JPEG,BMP and PNG) and I only can zoom in the JPEG ones, I'm not sure if that's normal or not -I didn't norice if that was also present in the previous firmwares to tell if it's a problem in the latest firmware only or a common problem- or it's just normal that pic's of these formats can't be zoomed in. Anyway, in general I think it's better than R1N035, not less in stabilty than the previous one for sure.

MP4 is the only supported format along with 3GP format. To convert your videos/movies into MP4 I use a program called MpegAble X4 Live!, very easy, fast and reliable one, I use version 2.2 build 7 but any other version will do the job for you. Search for it then download it, you'll need a small serial number to remove the program name bar from your converted video -note what I said, it means without the serial number you'll still be able to convert with no limitations at all-. Finally, to master the program just follow the steps in this page:

Yes, you can use W800i standard headset with K750i for both of them have the same port.

For converting audio I use iTunes, it works fine with the formats I use, but it seems that it doesn't support AMR extension, so I'm afraid that I'll ask you to follow the google way to find a decent AMR ---> MP3 converter.

It's man's own taste, we like the design of the K750i -not into having an orange colored cell. phone myself-. I like the design/layout of its keybad and camera + its black & silver colors gives it a very elegant feel and look. You like what you like and we like what we like OK ! It's not about the price BY ANY MEANS.
BTW, the difference in music quality is because of using a different standard headsets in both of the models, but both models are using the same version of media player, so the music quality is the same in both models, and W800i standard headset is worse than K750i standard headset at higher volume levels, even if some sees it better than K750i standard one he can still buy it and use it with his K750i.

MP4 is a video format/extension -it's a shortness of MPEG4- just like AVI or MPEG2 or WMV or DVD extensions. I'm not that specialist into that kind of things so don't ask for further description, it's just a video files extension.
AAC is an audio format/extension just like MP3 or AIFF or WAV extensions, not specialist here too so don't ask.
My study is computer science but believe me what I learned from reading reviews/previews online whether in sites or in forums gave me an amount of knowledge I doubt that I could even get half of it if I only depended on my doctors or my study books. The moral is anything you don't understand or sure about just search about it in the net and read then read then read about anything related to that thing which you don't understand, if you didn't understand anything in a review, check it out in another review, if still don't understand it ask about it in the forum of the site of that review -no forum, ask in a specialist site-, but if you'll play the busy man rule -don't have time to read- then don't ask, for you shouldn't expect us or anyone else to learn and understand for you.
For your last question, I didn't fully understand it, I'm not sure if you were asking about the way to copy clips into your phone or where to get clips to copy into your phone ??!! Anyway, I don't have the answer of the 2nd part, you get those from Kazza or any torrent, for the 1st part you simply open your phone file manager or the removable disk, go to videos folder(s) then copy your clips into that folder(s), but make sure they are of the extensions MP4 or 3GP to be recognized & played in your phone.

Why why why would you buy k750 when there is w800.For 1 the w800 has more memory,beter mp3 quality and looks beter and it doesn`s cost that much more than k750

Congrats for your new K750 device, you gonna love it & gonna enjoy with it a lot. K750 community is getting wider and wider very fast. This is what you gain when you work hard and devote yourself to please your customers, TOTAL DOMINATION & SUCCESS.
I didn't understand if you were asking about if there's a problem when using 1 G MS or not but anyway there no problem with that at all, you already have it, just use and see for yourself.
One last thing, just write my (bare/naked) -daym, I'de love to descripe a lovely woman with that attribute, lol, kiddin ;)- nickname, no need for addressing me with mr. I'm still young for that ;).

hello mr @doul after great confusion i brought this phone and realy i say this is rocking one.its music is better than my frnd d600 they all impress my phone.currently i am using i gb card wheater there is any promblem with that.i am realy proud to be owner of this phone.

UPDATE which I forgot to mension in my previous post.
The new Sony Ericsson Update Service aka (SEUSII) is preventing flashing your K750i into W800i firmware. SE made a very simple & intelligent solution. SEUSI used to be a package which you download and install just to update your pc java engine to be compatible to communicate with the clint -a software which do the communication between the phone and the software servers- and that clint is located into SE servers. Now they reversed the formula. The clint is in the SEUSII package which you download and install on your pc -SEUSII still upgrade your pc java engine-. All you do is installing that package and connect your phone, and the installed clint will identify your phone model and call for the proper firmware from SE servers.
No more K750i flashed into W800i firmware.
Well done SE.

There should be a USB cable in the phone bundle, communicating through it is more reliable than bluetooth connection and faster too. If you've bought the phone in full package then return to the shop and ask for that cable, if you've bought a used one then just go to any SE store and buy that cable.
For the connecting problem, just uninstall the PC Suite and install it again, then go to SE web site and lock for any driver updates available, that should make it.

Lol, it's your time zone man.
Anyway, regarding the night shots not being so clear issue, it's very damn normal man, even sony cybershots doesn't produce a fantastic night shots like its daylight ones. But the lights provided with this phone really makes a crystal clear close-up shots even in completely dark rooms, whether I viewded them in my phone or in my 19" pc CRT monitor. Tested & guaranteed ;).

I think you have to bay for that now, no more Nabstar or free MP3 sites. Try torrents if you're familiar with it or just go Kazaa.

A simple firmware upgrade will solve all those problems, take it easy. It's a very simple solution that you had to be thinking about from the beginning of your phone troubles.

that is true mark.. if you turn on the night mode then it will produce the same quality as daylight... but that is when you show it on your mobile.. if you show it in the computer.. you will see the noises. In fact what i am amazed for is the fact that it captures more light than the actual lighting, which means brighter in the screen.
