JB, my only concern is the screen on the k750. It's almost asking to be scratched. Especially because the screen surface is inline with rest of phone. I recently bought a protective (anti glare/anti scratch) film that you just cut to size, and stick on the screen. Doesn't effect quality of display.

The K750 manual is semi useless. I had to figure most of the stuff out myself because the manual just brushes over the basics. swak.

To all candyphone type owners such as K750 and W800: Are you at all worried about the fact that these phones do not have covers and run the risk of having the screen or the buttons scratched? This is the reason why I am considering getting the flip phone V800 even though it has less features and 1.3 mega pixels. Callers on the other line could hear you better with the flip phones rather than the no cover phones. Is anyone with me on this?

Can the text fonts be changed AND saved in this model? on the k300 you had to keep changing the font manually EVERYtime you text. thanks.

To TECHSAVVY who says that he has a suspicion that Nokia phones have better reception, it's not a suspicion for the average consumer, it's a KNOWN FACT that Nokia phones have far better reception than SE phones. Also, Nokia phones also focuses more on calling features compared to SE phones and lastly Nokia phones are STRONGER by FAR compared to SE phones. I should know all this, I have experience 3 SE phones, T310, T610 and P800. The T610 and P800 were Flagship phones during their time and yet still the build quality was the same as the level entry phone T310. Normally the problems had to do with the joystick where it wouldn't respond at times and instead of moving from one menu to the next it would open the current menu. In the P800 case, the flip part broke easily and in a next instance the P800 fell and the bottom part of the screen got black. I have seen some opinionist from this K750 forum complain about similar problems, one person said their Joystick wasn't working properly and another person said his K750 fell and suddenly a black line appeared in the middle of the screen and it won't go away. So even with these newer models the reception and build quality is still weak. Sony Ericsson needs to take a page out of Nokia's book and learn how to make proper phones and stop trying to catch people with these fancy features. Anyway you look at it, the main purpose of a phone is to make and receive calls so the priority should ALWAYS be on those features. Anybody who buys a cell phone because of the multimedia features would be better off just buying that particular standalone device which usually does a better job. Thank you all for reading.

Recently i got this k750i. I am just concerned about the time video shooting can be done. Its only 10 secs. Also I got a movie clip from one of my friend using Nokia via Bluetooth, but wasn't able to view it sincce file types were not matching. also I got saved under "Others" folder. How will i view movie clips coming from Nokia if file type is not matching.

I am really very disappointed to those users who do not know how to read the manuals and the past post on this topic.

Dear All, it make sense if we read first before shouting it loud here in GSMARENA..it's kinda (*&(&&*&%^&^%

I just k750 yesterday! It is really a masterpiece, excellent feautures! I would rate it a 10,but it gets gets 9 only because of the resolution of the video camera! It could beat all the way N90 if it had larger video resolution...

Anyway it worths every penny! Actually it costs half the money of N90, and only loses in video resolution. Symbian is not such a big deal! I know, I had 6600 before.

So anyone who wants an excellent phone go get it!

I own a SE K750i. It is really fantastic. i wanted a phone with the best mixture of functions. This has everything except for edge. But it didn't make a difference to me. The camera is fantastic. I got a bit bugged when i saw the New Nokia N series phones coming out so soon. But i checked out the features and camera quality. And i have to say SE K750i is much better. I am glad i took this phone. I had a problem with the mic in the first peice. But i got a replacement for the dealer. And i haven't had any problems with this phone. Best thing to buy. Didn't take W800 because i didn't find the silver colour appealing enough even though it has a 512 MB memory card included in it for the same price.

-*HOW TO PUT SONGS IN THE PHONE*-
Hey, everyone! (again) :-) Some people are asking how to put music into the Sony Ericsson K750. First you need to download or install a MP3 converter(To convert your songs into MP3 format). -For smart computer people you can convert it to MP3 format in the Windows Media Player(when ripping from a cd)-. Then install the software that came with the phone. Once you install the software, you will see "Sony Ericsson File Manager"- Then open your MP3 songs from your computer (go to "My Computer" and get/open your songs)*FROM YOUR PHONE CREATE A FOLDER FROM THE FILE MANAGER IN YOUR PHONE- I NAMED MINE "My Mp3s"* -Then connect your phone- Then open the "Sony Ericsson File Manager" and find the folder you just made. Now you just drag and drop the songs you want. MAKE SURE IT IS ON MP3 FORMAT *IF NOT* IT WILL NOT WORK. Thank You KLG2992- Kevin :-) Please answer my question on the previous post. Thanks KLG2992

Hey, everyone! Many have asked about this, "It can only record up to 10-15 seconds." This wonderful phone can record up to as much as 30 minutes- in a 64 mb(Memory Stick Duo)! It just depends on how much your memory is. (More memory- More video!)

                            DIRECTIONS:
                            1. Open the camera.
                            2. Go to video mode
                            3. Click "Settings"
                            4. Scroll to "SHOOT MODE"
                            5. Change "For picture message" to-> "High Quality Video"
                            6. Then scroll to "SAVE TO," then check "Memory Stick"

Im just thirteen, and handling it well for my phone. I have some questions to. Can you use Disc2Phone from the Sony Ericsson W800 for my Sony Ericsson K750i? Please Help Me, Thanks KLG2992- Kevin :-)

Overall great phone. Few problems I have experienced so far :

                                        - Phone does not save volume setting in media player after phone is switched off and back on.
                                        - Media player volume is soft compared to ringtone volume.
                                        - Phone switching off by itself and freezing.
                                        - Battery strength fluctuates after switching phone on.
                                        - Writing numbers in an sms is a pain. Only 2 ways of doing so, either by holding in the desired number key, or by changing the language to "123..." This simply takes too long.
                                        - My lense cover is already loose.
                                        - Screen goes blank after 20 seconds and no way of changing it! This is simply too short in any standard. What were you thinking SE??
                                        - Birthdays can only be added VIA contacts. Thats not clever. What if it's a kid without a cell phone? I find the calender to be extremely limiting in general.
                                        (Latest firmware is installed)

I really miss the green and red buttons found on nokia phones. This really speeds up workflow and adds functionality.

Other than those probs, it's a real pleasure using the phone. I'm thinking of getting the nokia 6230i tho. Just from a functionality point of view.
