Hi there. I currently have a Sony Ericsson S700 i and I cannot use MP3 files as ringtones........how do you do it on the SE K750i ?? Local shops are telling me you cant do this and it is an important deciding point for me !!!

k750 in romania is at 345 euro at rtel gsm, of course the price will fall, they all do.

can anyone tell me how much money this telephone costs in any other country?
for example, in Romania, it costs about 400-450$
i would like to know if k750i is cheaper in other parts of the world, mostly because i've heard that the prices are falling (for this phone, i mean)

its realy goregous n portable phone it camera is good plus connectivity also speaker layout is very very very very good thank you but just wanted to suggest to add more themes and wallpapers 4 fun thanxx

How do you play music through Bluetooth Headset ? I mean, where's the option to "Play via Bluetooth", in this Phone ? I've a Nokia HS-11W Headset. Even though it's connected to K750i, when I start an MP3, it plays through the Loudspeaker only. Can anyone help me ?

I bought this phone today.I thank gsmarena for this beautifull site.It helped me so much.There is only one thing i dont know.How to make the phone to record video longer.It records just 15 sec.PLEASE HELP ME.

Yes! You can play your MP3's as a ringtone. You even use the voice recorder, and set it as a ringtone! So when it rings you can tell who is calling. (Neat feature!)- For the MP3's you can listen to it from the speakers, but not the radio because it uses the headphones as an antenna.

can this phone use mp3 ringtones? like if i put a mp3 on the memory card will it be able to play it with the speaker as a ringtone? please let me know cuz it's the deal breaker for me getting this phone. thanx!

i understand that this is not a smart phone. just would like to know if there any function that allow user to create n read text file (*.txt) in the phone?
Can i transfer/sync txt format file with PC just like a normal sysbian phone?

I brought one for my sister(a banker) last Sunday, all her good friends(bankers too) adore this phone, and as a matter of fact, my sister called me up this afternoon to help five of her colleagues to buy one each for them. Three K750(2 black, 1 silver) & two W800.....This is absolutely the hottest phone!!!
For your information, all of them are using different models of Nokia phone(including my sister - 3230).

Absolutely fantastic! Yes, there may be better looking handsets around, but for functionality and value for money, there is no better handset! Well Done Sony Ericsson.

u can listen to radio/mp3 while doing most things with the phone, just select to minimise the media player/radio app.
wen u take a photo or receive a call, the music player stops but restarts itself afterwards.
sick phone, get one :o)

hye k750i is a good phone has superb cam and cheap more than nokia 6680 and 6630 even 7610..................... i'll recommend this mobile as it has
small size
good speaker
high resolution camera
sweet style
cover changer
themes
mp3 ringss
what it lack to be the best mobile, it is not a symbian

This phone can use mp3 file as ringtone that are transferred from the computer or through bluetooth from other devices..
However, for messaging tone..
if u use mp3 as message tone, it will onli ring for a while about 5 secs..
den it will stop.. although the mp3 is about 4 min long..
For calling ringtone,
It works fine.
I think later firmwares will be able to solve the problem of the messaging tone

between the k750 and w800..
It is up to u to choose between the designs..
Both phones are exactly the same.. onli diff
design and the w800 can play mp3/radio onli
when the phone is off.. besides, w800
repaired some bug that is in k750.
The addtional things that come with w800 is
the headphone and 512mb card..
The headphone is an attractive stuff as it
can convert the fastport to 3.5 mm jack
where u can use normal headphones..
however the headphone and card can be bought
separately.. so k750 can use them too..
So it bores down to the design and colour..

I would of cos recommend this phone..
unless u wan to use 3g
if u wanna wait for the n series...
go for n91.. the other 2 is useless..
But n91 will be expensive.. and will onli come out end of this year or next year..
But u can choose between w800 and k750..
see which design u like better

Have no real issues with this handset,camera
is top quality and size and weight perfect.
Being able to use MP3's as message tones is
also a great touch.would definatley recommend this handset to anyone.
