This phone is great no freezing and camera is awesome just try out that zoom, fantastic. The only flaw i find which is really annoying is the lens cover too easily comes open when this happens the camera is activated and will thus drain battery without you knowing, a strong shutter closure recommended here SE, other than that the best phone available by far!

Alright, I now have (finally!) a Sony Ericsson k750i. I previously had a Nokia 8250, so this is a BIG jump in mobile phone technology, and am loving the phone very much.

One question though, is there some sort of music composer on the pone? I can't seem to find one anywhere?

If anyone has any questions, I'll be glad to answer them.

    Thanks.

        Hi all
Anyone out there using the K750 on Telstra in Australia??
For the life of me I can't get WAP and GPRS working yet Telstra say I have access.
Anyone else having probs? Does anyone have the settings? I've tried the settings on Telstras site and SE site.
        Thanks in advance...
        Troy

I got this phone 3 days ago. Awesome phone. i did not experience any problems with the speaker. its loud and clear. the only problem is that the screen is not embedded, so it gets scratched easily. i dont get the thing with not buying phones made in china because their price keep falling. that can only mean that phone companies in the area r producing better phones all the time. so if u want to keep ur old phone just because it is expensive and useless, please do not tell others not to buy a better phone. people want phones with functions, not that they can sell it off in a few month and say, wow that phone sure was useless but i got some of my money back.

              now to answer some questions:

the phone can take memory stick duo of up to 4 gb, so yes, it can use 1gb memory stick duo.

to record videos longer than 10 secs, u need to go to setting/shooting mode, and change it to high quality video. the 10 sec limit is to limit the size so it can be send in a mms.

The k750 is definitely much much better than the RAZR V3 in so many aspects that i dont even want to name. if u think the V3 is thin, go check out how wide it is. thats one of those phones that wont lose market value too soo, but wut is it good for? 5mb of memory, wut a joke.

I dont know the reception in the US but up here in Canada, my reception is quite good, even though im with fido.

And for those of you who think the Nokia 3230 is better, it loses value even faster than the k750. today i saw one for 379 CND, thats like 300 bux US.....sadness

Hi- I am currently having SE K700i which I bought from South East Asia. I would like to change with either SE K750i or Motorola Razr V3 (probably the black one). My question is, do the new SE K750i have the same "snapping" sounds when taking a pictures, like the one on SE K700i? I feel like sometimes it's bothering me, like when I take a picture with my wife on a quite restaurant, the snapping sounds is so loud and sometimes many people look at me when I do that.

I heard that there is an update firmware (or something like that) that can be used to mute the "snapping/clicking" sounds. But I could not find it and I don't know how to use it. I am sorry I am not good at electronic thing.

What about Motorola Razr V3? Does it have a "snapping" sounds too?

Which is better between SE K750i and Moto Razr V3?
I like the big memory on SE K750i because I don't need to delete all my saved pictures and also it has 2MP now (compare to VGA on V3). But the V3 model is really nice and it's slimmer too.

I would appreciate any help and answer of my question.
                Thank you.

so far, everything is good, didn't happen like some of the people claims, phone hang. Battery is really long lasting.

I am trying to figure out the way of taking longer video clip than 10seconds, anyone got any idea? except by adding up few video clips. Thanks

I told you NEVER BUY CHINA MADE PHONES. their price falls down very soon. Because China just makes lots of products every year and their prices fall down very soon when they make a new model just 2-3 months later. 8-9 months ago SE K700 was $400 , now $190! and in one month it will be $160...but just look at the phones made of finland, france, japan... even if they dont have new features their price still doesnt fall down...2-3 days ago I sent an opinion about poor K750. read it! Believe me you will just repent if you buy this phone. 3 weeks ago I bought 450 dollars and 5-6 days ago I sold it $250, because that phone had many problems. My suggestion is to buy one of these phones: SE P910, Nokia 6630, Nokia 6680, I have SE P910 and Nokia 6630 and both of them are veeeeeery good phones, really great! But if you buy be careful to buy France and Finland made ones! Chinese phones are ok only few months.

is the video time for like 30 seconds or 1 minute?or can we take videos for no limit like 45 or 60 minutes,as much as we want?

Why is the price of k750 falling at such a alarming rate??, one 1.5 months back it cost around Rs 20500 here in india and now it costs just over Rs 18000, really alarming, something fishy going on??

Biggest joke is the Speakerphone. Try calling your phone or using the speakerphone next to another cell-phone near by. It will sound like a fax machine. Major fault here in prodcution.
