for all those looking to buy this phone...it works great. its fine. if you got any questions e-mail me and ask...as for the lens cover scratching the lens...wont happen the cover slides smoothly plus the lens is embedded if you dont know that means. it mean the lens is indented so its 2 mm away from the covre.

for the person who complained abotu the calender with the birthdays. if you go to your contacts you can set up a birthday for them and it will be automatically included into your calender.

But of course, Sony-Ericsson morons still stick to 500 entries phonebook and first letter search despite all that megabytes of memory.
    I just can’t believe.
    What a serious sickos…

Btw. That 500x15 doesn’t mean that you can enter 15 entries for each of 500 contacts.
It means that you can enter only 100 contacts if you have 5 entries for each.

This is almost a new phone with a lot of features, but it has not finished its functional tests yet!! I mean if u really wanna appreciate this K750 wait until its vital erors and bugs are discovered!! i think this phone is released in a hurry so it has a lot of hardware and software disadvantages.

I love K750i very much, this phone give me a lots of fun and excited. Although it doesn't come with CCD lens but still able to produce very good picture especially under low light condition. I knew S700i can produce very sharp image but i dislike its swivel design make me uncomfortable to use it. But K750i can give u overall satisfaction.Trust me u will like K750i once u own it.

this phone is nice n good and i had read many reviews about it but the only think i dont like about it because sony use CMOS sensor instead of the CCD sensor used in the s700i for its camera.CMOS sensor is very cheap and picture quality that is been produce is lower.it consumed very little power n thats why we have lower sensitivity n resolution in the picture. that is why sony provide a flash accessories for it to give a good picture n also with the auto focus function. while CCD sensor are more sensitive to light and it creates low noise and high quality images. that is why S700i picture is better n the phone is one of the best cameraphone that any one would buy...so i hope people who want to buy K750i for only the camera function to think twice or not u cant just neglect my advice ..for me it seems that 2 megapixel phones is good but u need to know what lenses or sensor do they use..From what i learn and seen many mobile phone advertisement and brochures did not include this detail about the sensor..ok then ...u decide for ur self

Overall its a good phone, but, sorry there's always a but, well the calender isn't too standard! I moved from the Nokia 6230 to the SonyEricsson K750i (first time I left nokia since the huge mistake I had with the motorola V50). With the 6230 calender I could put in birthdays meetings, etc. with the K750i you can only put appointment, and no recurance appointments such as birthdays!!

when comparing photos, please use a gold standard for reference (e.g. canon ixus etc) otherwise its useless

Yeah, just got this phone 2 days ago from O2, everything going on really well... indeed a great phone, superB~! just a minor scratch at the lens cover but overally, everything (software) running really great... totally no problem with this phone... nice~!
2 questions, how to check the firmware of the phone? and is it safe to update the firmware of this O2's K750i?

If u guys are looking into buying a new phone and don't need UMTS/Edge this is the phone for u. This is without any competition, i've tried a lot now, the best one up to date.
The w800 might look nicer to some, but with a upgrade the k750 is identical (except looks)

for all those who are complaining about the head set. mine has no problem. when in a call has everyone tried to raise the volume of the incoming noise? during the call push the volume/zoom control on the side of the phone to the max. then see if its still too low. but mine is fine. and if you guys are seriously complaining about the headset. then get a bluetooth one...or dont use it.

other than that for the radio part...some person asked before. if you dont want to use the head set to listen to radio. just plug in the head set. which works as the antenna. then when in the radio go to "more" and choose speaker or something like that and then you dont need to listen through the head set...hope that answered someones question.

also. the k750i has a flashlight function which really makes a damn nice flashlight. you can see everything in a room with it.

Could anyone tell me if SE V800 or SE 750 is a better phone? What if it compares to Sharp 903?
And is there any online sites you guys recommand for a cheaper price in the states?
