Peter check ur settings,
on more,u probably have wrong settings to make videos only for mms size, check it because K750 has unlimited video.

Geki;could this replace a standard cam,hmm i dont think so,its a step forward than 6230i,with autofocus and unmached qulity so far in the mobile market but i suggest u Cuber-shot T7 if making foto is ur number one priority, anything less than 3mp isnt enough for a good picture and an optic zoom function is still a very very rare thing among mobiles.

Weed on fire who told u that rabish?
its extremely easy to make shots with K750,thats what is made for,
the only problem is u cant deactivate the sound of the camera because international laws forbitten it,but u can always find solutions, even to that;)
As for the mp3,its so good that u can compare it with an i-pod,
the human ear can hardly distinguish the difference,
only a machine could do,
K750 as an exemple for the rest of the mobile phones,
the only problem is the ringing sound cant keep a pace with the player sound,
but u can always use a fine poly melody that suits better to uit

      my question is:
Can SE K750i's camera replace a standard camera ?

I have nokia 6230i, and although it has a camera, the quality is to be deplore.

The phone has a strong built-quality. Best of the very best, changed from 6230i to this K750i-no regret.

Compared to old K700i (heaven & earth).
          Great phone, great masterpiece-K750i.
          Well Done! Sonyericsson again.

Hi guys! Does anyone know where to look for the technical data for K750 accessing the memory stick?

What i'm interested is the speed of k750 read/write data on MS.

Also would like to know will MS Duo Pro (i'm just having MS Duo 64MB) makes any diff in speed of accessing file on MS?

Has anyone sucessfully update the firmware for K750? any good? any differences?

            Please reply guys... Thanx!

its the worst phone i ever had. Too low earpiece volume. You cant use it as a phone. It has the best camera available but whats the point if you cant use it as a phone? its better to buy a canon camera if someone wants good photos. The user interface is worse than nokia and full of bugs.I have installed the latest firmware [ after 3 hours ! } but i didnt noticed some significant improvement. Too much noise for this phone. Dont buy it! look elsewhere

I just bought the upgraded version w/c is the K750i and I'm quite pleased with it. Picture quality-wise it tips the scale at 8 with 10 as the highest ( i dont believe this has an optical zoom, or does it? ) The Memory Stick Duo is a very convenient feature especially for people like me who needs more storage for filming and certain photography I take. Though I belive that it is not as stylish as most phones but who cares about that? I know it don't, but I think this fone is sexy! :D Though I'm intrigued about that firmware you guys have been discussing. I'm not much of a technical person and i'm very impressionable. When I see that a certain description will fit my needs, well then I'm decided. If you could give me more info about the software it needs especially for photography and any stuffs that you think I should know still, please email me. It will be deeply appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. This fone has the highest pixel size out int he market now, right?

                          Thanks Brynn....

However, if you connected the handsfree and you saved the radio frequency, can you redirect that to the built in speakers, I mean can you put it on the table and listen....

you need the earphone connected to listen to radio as this is the aerial. If the unit just picked up am stations(medium wave)etc you would just need to turn the phone about to pick up stations.i dont know if they have invented a mini ferrite rod that picks up A.M.frequencys these units are pretty big usually.
I knew a review would come out about battery life and the carl zeiss optics not making the nokia n90 a good phone. The constant filming in large resolutions and that screen are going to have an extra large drain on battery. It looks like an awkward bulky unit and even more content now with my k750i purchase, plus its probably half the price which has therefore gone towards paying for my 1gb memory stick.

can you listen to the Radio WITHOUT the handsfree earphone.

In the swedish magazine Mobil there is a 8 pages long test between Sharp 902, Nokia N90 and SE K750i. The conclusion is that SE K750i is the best camera phone among the three. K750 takes the best pics in daylight whereas N90 demands alot of tweaking to come close to pics taken by K750. They also state that although N90 has CZ optics pics from K750 are sharper and has better color. The one place were N90 is better is for lowlight conditions on the other hand the LEDs on K750 are much better and give better result than the ones on N90. They didn't take video function into account in the test but states in the full review of the N90 that the video function drains the battery extremely fast but that the result is very good the battery is also the big downside to the phone besides its dimensions and price. The camera is also not as good as they had thought it would be. Third place in the cameratest goes to Sharp 902.

[new proud owner of the k750i]

well the k750i runs mp3 format ringtones, along with midi. and as for video it runs mpeg4, or 3gp. now what i want to know is if anyone knows how to upgrade the software in the k750 to the w800i. i heard about people that do it. but i want to know if anyone knows how or knows where i can find out. thanks
