The o2 online store is still selling them - I've even phoned the online store and they said they can deliver next day.

Not sure if the shops are just awaiting delivery, or if there have been further problems?! (Surely the online store would stop selling them as well though, if this was the case). O2 have said for a while that they will be selling them again from 20th June after having fixed the earlier problems...

Any one had the 2 GB or 1 GB memory card yet? The people at the shops(I went to 2 different shops) told me the phone would get incredibly sloooow if I get the card as it the phone takes time to read the card. Is this true?? Can anyone verify this?

Got a Nokia 6230i 1 1/2 week ago, thought it was a nice business phone w/good reception, camera, MP3, user friendly, and sync very easily with Outlook via bluetooth/IR. But was very disappointed with the short battery life (lasts only 2 days of my usage), and there is always an echo when I'm talking on the phone. Then the bad quality 2-piece cover which became loose just after few days, not a big deal because I know I can get a better fitting cover with HK$25. But I wasn't going to take that for a brand new phone. Tried to exchange for another 6230i but found the same problem w/echo and loose cover. So I decided to pay a bit more for the SE 750.

750 was selling like hot cake, they must have sold 5 units within 30 min that I was there! Had it for 4 days now and so far everything works properly. I haven't experience any of the slowness or crash others have mentioned; navigation through the screen was just as quick as 6230i. Very user-friendly function and features. Good camera, MP3 with adjustable equalizer & bass when using included headphone, very good batter life (only at 45% w/3 days of usage!) Sync easily with Outlook w/bluetooth/IR/or included USB cable.

Shortcoming: the earpiece was on the weak side, when in noisy places I had to cover my other ear so I can hear. I know I can always turn on the loud speaker but I didn't want others to hear. I would say max it's at 75% of 6230i (which was very loud, if u dont mind the echo). Other than that, nothing much to complaint about.

Overall, I love the phone, very good built quality, just a very solid great looking phone.

I mentioned this earlier - you have to install the drivers on your PC no matter what OS you run. The PC will not recognise the phone without this. And drivers are only available for Win2000 onwards. No Win98 compatability!! grr!

On my T610 the sound volume is very quiet!

Oh and RT, do you have to use the CD that comes with the phone to make the cable work or can the computer install the drivers by finding some?

Signal strength is quite poor on SE phones but ok and for some people the phone could be a lot louder but some people thinks it is ok!
If you want the answers to most questions, have a look a t previous posts!

Yes, the menu's lag a bit. However the firmware update is supposed to take care of that.

I have heard people talk about the low speaker volume. I don't know why they say that. It's fine on my phone, infact I don't use full volume as it is too loud!!

anyone who has the phone thinks it lags? I have seen sony ericsson phones that lag, so I'm wondering if this model does the same too.

People who are freaking about k750i releaseing ccd sensors in December, should go and buy good qualiy digital camera, bcoz, its not going to make huge differens on k750i. On k750i the most important thing is the battery. CCD consumes huge amount of power so since this is a phone not a digital camera you should save the power to talk and stay in touch as much as you can.

Ordered this phone with O2 but had to wait cos they have been re-claimed by O2 for software bugs needing to be fixed. In a way i'm pleased they have done this (dispite the wait) cos i doubt they would risk giving me or anyone else a phone which will still have faults in it. I'm getting it in two days but was wondering about two things.
Firstly i have been used to using my nokia 6600 which has themes to it, the website mobile9 says themes are available on the k750, but others say it doesn't, so can anyone clarify.
Also i was hoping to use the radio feature a lot but whats the reception quality like and how much battery power does it use.
                        Cheers

I went to buy this phone from one of the 3rd party dealers in New York area today.

I looked at the phone, incerted my sim card and everything is great about this phone except?- Sound quality. The sound is not even medium loud!

                            Big disapointment with Sony!
K-7OO has a loud and clear sound
S700 also has lound and clear sound
But this k750 with 2 megapixel , you can hardly hear anything ( probably because the phone is too small , which makes it look like another toy, not a phone).

Can any manyfactute including: Samsung, Sony, Nokia, etc... make a perfect phone without bugs??? (I very doubt lately ).

Mark: My K750i lets me put whatever mp3 ringtone i want on it and i can choose any ringtone i want to set. No problems whatsoever. I think your friends may need to read the user manual

do not buy this phone if you have your own mp3's and wish to transfer them to ringtones(by the way for any one who may be thinking they wont work as they are copyrighted, then you're wrong as they are not then also dont bother as the phone wont let you. I thought it might be just Vodafone uk being a bit stingy(lets stop people using their own music, and make them buy ringtones instead) but it isnt. I know of 2 people now who both have K750I's and they both tell me they have the same problem. the speaker on this phone also appears to be very tinny, and the output compared to my nokia 6230I is somewhat dissapointing. I hope the moderator allows this to be posted, Its not a whinge, but is a true reflection of what I think of as faults, any comments on this post will be gratefully received, although it may well be too late as I think I'm gonna let Vodafone have it back and go for the Nokia 6680 instead!!!!!
