I just bought a P910i after having owned a K700i sony ericcson. I have three bluetooth facilities- a headset, a dongle and an in car system.
All were working fine earlier today.
About an hour ago-I tried to use the P901i in my car and it would not connect. I swapped back to my old K700i and even IT would not connect and it asked for a passcode. I checked the car manual and it suggested joint default passcodes of 0000. I cannot alter the car one anyway so I used 0000 in the phone. It didnt work. I went to my dongle and lo and again it would not recognise the phone even tho all things were switched on . I even rebooted the computer and phone.
Lastly I went to my ear piece- and it paired ok. Again I tried the K700i with my car- no joy and with the computer dongle- no joy. In all cases asking for passcodes. So, I seem to have gained a P910i and lost pairing with my car and computer. Can anyone help? Please?

My k750i arrived from Orange yesterday, but due to "system errors" my new SIM hasn't been activated yet. However the phone itself is superb. I'm surprised the review did not mention the panoramic mode on the camera, allowing you to stick three photo's together into one really wide one - it rocks! And SE have done the business with the management of the memory card, when plugged into your PC it treats it like a removable drive, the only problem here being that while connected via USB the memory card isn't available to the phone :/

Other than that, radio reception, call clarity, volume etc... everything about this phone is perfect IMO. So pleased.

Sony Ericsson should learn from Nokia to make lot of pattern. Sony Ericsson is cheap n good but when come to pattern it so boring!

....and i should have mentioned getting the phone teamed up with a decent tariff.... Carphone warehouse are pretty poor on tariffs to be honest (but the phone will be un-messed-with)... i've been offered 200 mins anytime, 250 txts for £25 over 12 months. the tariff is as important, if not more, than the phone isnt it really. No point getting a perfect phone if ure getting ripped off every month!

From reading off here and because i myself did this, get it from carphone warehouse and on 02 and there hasnt been any problems.

Ive just set up my internet services via SE site and when it asked me which data connection type i wanted i chose GPRS.
But there was also GSM/CSD - can someone tell me what this is please? and have i chose the right one?
                    Thanks

                      OK....

I've read so many views and opinions and problems and positives on here about the K750 that my head is up my ass.

I live in the UK, I know this phone is quality and i'm upgrading from a SE T630 on Vodafone (been with them, prev. Singlepoint for 5 years) so it will do everything I want it to do. I know its the phone I want. Thats the easy bit.

But - where do I get it from? People on here are saying you are mad if you go on Voda because of the Live! software, O2 are messing up the software as well or will they be selling factory specc'ed (ie, no O2 software) soon?, T-Mobile only have the exclusive D750 and Orange tariffs and locked SIM cards put me off them years ago. Oh and buying it for £300 quid Sim free isnt an option.

If I get this thru Vodafone is it REALLY going to make any difference to me, I'm no phone geek.. as long as I can have MP3 ringtones (legal ones) and it does everything that SE intended I dont care.

                      Confused,

How to store mp3s on memory stick and run those mp3s from there itself. Or could you tell me how to play the mp3s that I copied directly on the memory stick from my PC

cool, to expand the limit of 10s recording, while in the camera go to options and set "high quality" and not "mms"

ruddiger ,, have u got much memory left on the phone?it will record till the memory run's out so the amount of memory is the amount of time it will record for...that's when u set it high quality recording...but mine even in low quality record's for over 10second's which alot seem to only get 10 second's,im sure mine is only meant to run for 10second's also on the low quality as it's for video message..any one else with the phone tested this??

the phone is quality plain and simple. the pictures are quality, the phone itself is quality and the mp3 player is quality.its worth its weight in gold.

does anybody know how to extend the recording length on the video of this phone; at present I can only record for ten seconds at a time.

                                  cheers

I have had my swapped by o2 and so far so good with the new one. The phone is excellent. I would ignore all these geeks who talk about symbian and all that nonsense. This is a superb phone with a great camera. Who cares what OS it runs on.

Whats the memory stick adaptor for?
Is it so i could my memory stick in it and then connect the adapter to someone elses phone and just transfer stuff?

To be fair i havent found any disadvantages yet!

The speaker volume is quieter than my nokia and the only hard thing for me was getting used to pressing # for space instead of 0 LOL!
