been using this phone since a year or so.. the best phone ive ever used. its still working fine.. exellent camera, handy, user freindly and above all a durable phone! i bought a k790 a week back but shifted back to my oldy !! rock on 750 im ur fan !!

i had the k750i. yes, i said "i". never had a better phone. i lost it on vacation. now i have a razor (sucks),a blackberry(this 1 2), and a trio(yep,this 2). i'll tell you what. k750i beats all other phones combined, hands down. if i could find one i would almost give up my left arm 4 it.

I've been using my K750i for 2 months now, its great:
* I can transfer files from my computers to my cp and vice versa, via the usb cable which comes free with the phone, and with the essential programs installed.(It comes with the Installation CD)
* I'm using a 2gb original sony memory, reading and saving is fast. Hundreds of MP3's (use 128kbps or even bigger to have quality sound), and high res pictures, to include movies (converted to 3gp, you can use software like PLATO VIDEO TO 3GP CONVERTER). Tip. You can defrag your memory card while connected to your pc via the usb.
* Battery BST 37 900mA for long life.
* lots of freedownloads, games, applications FROM the internet
CONSIDERING THE PRICE, PEFORMANCE & TENURE OF THIS CELLPHONE, I CAN SAY... ITS JUST THE BEST.

Everybody has a bad opinion about the joystick. Actually SE's joystick is one of the best joystick. We should try using it gently and ofcourse its not a gamepad and try not to exert too much pressure on it.

Note: Actually my phone's mega bass effect got reduced bcoz of updating my phone software, so try it @ ur own risk.

K750i Update Firmware Step by Step___
1)Warning! updating your phone is very risky....wanna go further then___
2)Install Macromedia Flash Player & Shockwave player 1st.
3)If you have installed windowblinds software, you have to first time uninstall it. This Windows skin is blocking comunication SEUS II with Macromedia Flash Player.
Before update MAKE SURE YOUR BATTERY IS "100%" CHARGED___
4)Your firmware will be updated through the Sony Ericsson Update Service II (SEUS II). In order to use SEUS you will need to have internet access (preferably Broadband) and attach your phone to your PC via the supplied USB cable___
5)Before installing SEUS you will need to download and install the following drivers:
Sony Ericsson K750 USB drivers___
6)Installation instructions______
a. Download the file to a temporary folder on your PC.
b. Run the downloaded file, and follow the instructions that appear.
Note! If you are using deskstand DSS-25, please go to step 6
c. If you are using a DCU-60 USB cable an installation of the USB Flash driver will automatically start while running the application.
d. The Found New Hardware wizard will start. Follow the instructions to install the USB Flash driver.
e. After the installation restart Update Service.
f. When installation is completed, please restart the computer.
How to use_________
1. Double-click on the Update Service icon on the desktop.
2. The first time Update Service is launched, the application accesses the internet to download content that is needed to be able to run the service. This may take several minutes, depending on the internet connection speed.
3. Choose your preferred language and follow the instructions that appear.
Notes & problems
Install Macromedia Flash Player using Internet Explorer.
If you have Application Error Message Incompatible Macromedia Version
than follow this instructions:
1. Open Internet Explorer (it must be opened only in Internet Explorer)
2. In IE open this adress: Flash Player Download Center
3. Click the button "Download Now" and follow the instructions
4. After sucssesfull instalation restart Internet Explorer and open in IE this adress: Test Macromedia Shockwave & Flash Players
5. When you see the animation in fold About “Version 8,0,22,0 installed successfully” playing below the Macromedia Flash Player, then your installation was successful.
6. Now you can shut down Internet Explorer and turn on the SEUS again without any error message.
The first time you start Update Service about 2 MB will be downloaded to your PC.
The software updates for the phones are 10-65 MB depending on phonemodel. The update is downloaded when you run the application.

Is the four way navigation joystick looks bad at night.. i ve heard from my friend tht k750s joy stick is just like w200 which seems not so good.need yr opinion?????

Try to clean the phone's connector.
Update the phone's firmware,(I don't know which one is the newest)after that if you still have these problems, you should take the phone back to the shop

below are some problems on my phone (k750i). please help!
1. The PC failed to detect the phone's presence when connects with USB. Have to reinsert few times from phone and port to be detected. (the USB port is working fine on other devices)
2. The phone shuts off by itself few times without any reason.
3. When unlocking the phone (press star key and menu), the screen immediately shows many tiny horizontal white lines on the entire screen and it goes off quickly after that.
4. There was once the ringing tone coming out from the phone turned out be some sort of a distorted sound. Suspected the speaker wasn't functioning well. ???
My phone is only 3 months old and these issues are freaking me out. The phone's firmware is R1CA021.
I haven't send for inspection from the shop that i bought. I thought i need some answers first before doing so.
Can anyone help?

you must install the CD(PC SUITE)came from your phone to your PC...that CD contains the drivers of your phone k750i and other programs that can help you to explore more on your phone...if you are using windows XP service pack 2 to maybe there is default drivers for your phone or else you need to install the CD...

can anyone help . after connecting my 750i to my pc ,i can find my pics and video in the phone memory and memory card but i am unable to view my videos on pc . i double click on file name to open with no response. is it posible to transfer video to pc??????

very good phone but only problem,joystick
good camera result. good display .small phone size(good phone size)
good sound quality(loud sound)
w810i has not as loud sound as k750i has
only joystick is bad in this phone hard to use other than this is a very good phone

hi everyone plz help me i upgrade my k750i to r1db00,the sound of media player now sucks in headset,itz become low..is there any solution for that,is there any walkman headset do for it to regain the soun volume

One of the best phones ever produced. 2nd only to a W810 with custom K750 backplate ( to have the camera covered )
