Laura, 18 Jul 2008Hi Dan thanks for the info.pls im a bit confused.right now ... moreyeh no probs. id personally go the k800 over a used n73 as the n73 has had some software issues in the past and the k800 has a better battery life. Plus, can support more file types and has the proper digital camera flash. so preety much i think all round the k800 is a better phone lol.

Laura, 18 Jul 2008Hi Dan thanks for the info.pls im a bit confused.right now ... moreDear Laura, the N73 has been superceded by the N78. The N73 had a lot of features but if you are wanting smartphone features plus a good camera you should consider the Nokia N82 or N78, or the Nokia 6220 Classic. They offer excellent technology run on a class leading Symbian operating system. However, if you are not particularly after adding an extensive list of 3rd party applications, then the K800i wins hands down. It is one of the very best Java based devices ever made. With its superb range of features, including 3G, music player and its award winning camera with a top display and solid build, it deserves serious consideration. It was Sony Ericsson's flagship device. Many people return to this device even after having newer handsets.

Kimi,
I was able to download a word/excel reader for k800i from noeman forum site. It works fine but you have to open the document from inside the application. Not like nokia quickoffice that opens the document on just clicking. However, am yet to see pdf reader to download.
I have also seen lots of apps to hide/lock multimedia files but none for locking or hiding messages or contact.
