That's why i bought a w810i walkman phone instead..the k800 has amazing photography features (yeah..Cyber-shot's the name) and 3D accelaration for high detail 3D games but the joystick sucks..try w810i..has a lower screen resolution (176x220) and a 2MP digital autofocus camera with light (still competitive to most cybershot phones and digital cameras) but so far it's still the best sony ericsson phone i have ever had..=)
just search on gsmarena.com for the w810i details and you'll know what i mean..

k810's joystick is different/better than the k800.
on stock, k800's sound quality is a step lower than its walkman counterparts. although you can mod it to sound (or sound even better) like a walkman phone. search the net on tutorials on how to do this. afaik this will void any warranty left on the phone. but it's worth it.

im looking at options for buying another phone, I have owned a k700i, and currently a v600i, but i getting sick of the joystick sticking, is this k800, or the k810i going to be the same, if so i might look towards another brand phone.

ok the picture quality of the phone is great but there is only one major problem with the phone the software of the phone keeps on crashing aftar a while. it happened to me once and i fixed it because my phone was still under warranty. but now it happened again and it costs alot of money to have the software updated again

Say yess for this phone,i have one and its work very good,amazing camera with xenon flash.but sometime its sound not clear.hope sony will change duration of message alert more than 10secon,thats to short

this is no doubt an amazing phone. next month makes it the 18th month i have had this handset. no reall issues as such with the handset and the camera is fantastic!! two thumbs up to sony ericsson

Actually this mobile is good for taking pictures.other options i am not sure and allready not happy allso.if any one buying this phone dont expect much except camera.thanks

I have this phone by force. On a contract for another year!
Before I got the phone I thought it was the best thing, but now that I have it, it's really just the novelty.
My problems;;
The cursor broke within a week so now its hard to select down on menus,
The internal camera went green,
It's easily scratched.

Hi y'all.
I just bought my k800i and noticed something different about my two keys on standby screen. It should be Calls and Menu, while on my phone I have Calls and "catch" which allows me to go to the internet. Any way I can change this, and set it to Menu?
