In reply to a previous post re the flash, you might be in 'best shot' mode, so there is no flash option. I had this problem when I bought the phone yesterday.
You need to turn on the camera, go into Settings, select 'Shoot mode' and select 'Normal'. You can then go back into the Settings menu, choose 'Flash' and click 'Auto'. In addition I would recommend you go into Settings menu again, select 'Picture quality', and click on 'Fine'. The remaining default settings on the phone are fine for regular use (you can play about with it when required).

if you cant activate it therefore it's deactivated
but you cant deactivate the flash therefore it's activated.,
you're very confusing.,

ohk the Sony Ericsson K800i....its a really good fon esp. for the camera features wth the 2buttons above the screen whch helps for easy viewin fotos....sound its ohk bt in btw the k series the sound i hd was in my k750i the in a k800i wat i do jst buy a headfon of a walkman series n set up ur equilizer thts it in short ths fon it awsum from all point of view....Long Live Sony Ericsson

the phone is really good..i've just got it....but can't activate or deactivate the flash..plz somebody tell me where i can find this option

to any one ask what the difference between k800 andk 800i- K800 UMTS/900/1800/1900 MHz for China Mainland . i have k800i and iam from egypt but i think it has two bad things 1-the screen was so small if we compare with n73 nokia 2-the sound wasnt so high like walkmans although it was inthe mega base mood . thanks

No, K800 is the chinese model, K800i is the *international* model
the Sound Quality of K800i is the Same as Walkman Phones

like what i posted here before, you should get K800 instead of those walkman model phones. because you can SET the EQUALIZER to produce that MEGABASS setting that you've always wanted in a walkman phone

if you have an 'EYE' for photography, you can see the difference between pics taken with VGA and a 3MP resolution

3MP pictures are better!
K800i is better then W850i in camera, W850i Music
but overall K800i is best just buy some Walkman earphones for K800i and it Boooms just like a Walkman

this is the most stupid idea i've ever heard., when you are looking in the k800i's screen you'll see no difference between VGA resolution and 3mp resolution but once you put it in the computer you'll see the big difference!!!

are you sure k800i and Sony Ericsson - HBH-PV705 are compatible?
and did you tested it before you buy it?

you better get K800i.i have used all the fone that you mention.n73 often hangs and the resolution of the photos is 60%-70% of what k800 can give.
K810 is lighter and slimmer than K800i.has track ID music recognition but the keypad is off. shiny and silver.k800i keypad is classy and of course the fone itself.i dont know what happen with the resolution of k810.k800i's resolution is a "bit" better.im not bias.i have used those fones for quite a long time.I know what im saying.

you dont have to worry with regards to the lens cover.it doesnt get loose if you use it with care.
the keypad buttons are close that makes it a bit off.you might have problems when youre getting started using the fone for texting but its just minor.besides youll get used to it(just like me).just practice for the mean time.the keypad button is firm and there is no delay response when you press it.the color doesnt peel or fade.
The joystick sometimes response slowly but not mine.use it with care.
The fone sometimes tend to hang.just get the battery out and reset the fone and everything will be back to normal.
Video recording is not as clear as the camera photos.its a camera fone anyway.
Mp3 is great.the earphone has bass.the speaker is loud enough.
CAMERA,RESOLUTION,PHOTO BLOGGING.PICTURE EDITING IS GREAT!

to anyone who owns this phone, i would like to ask if the lens cover gets loose easily, like is it fragile or sth?
and does the keypad spoil easily?
is there other specific disadvantage about this phone?

im sorry but there is no way that you can extend the duration of the message alert tone for more than 5 seconds.
