well this phone is really good i have one the only problem i eve encountered on this phone is the keypads its all squashed together difficult to text overall its stunningly good the joystick is good just handle it with care....

i have my K8 for almost 8 months. Its a very good phone, but there's a li'l problem with the joystick and the headset as well.

I agree with you dude. Itz a great phone. ^_^ SE did great in setting up different "personalities" for each phone class. ^_^ and in the K-series (cyber shot) the K800i is still a great and affordable camera phone. ^_^ Cheers!

It is a good sony ericsson cell,especially it's camera..afterall it's a cyber shot..don't care about wat people say,i am using it..k800i is a nice cell.a

well, about this having a great camera (still shot) thatz true. Well, itz a cyber shot phone it must have good camera. ^_^ This phone however can't compete in terms of the other types of phones that Sony has. Comparing this to a W-Series phone is really something that is different. The Camera features of the W-Series phone (W910i, W950i, W810i, etc.) are good but can't compare with the K-Series (cyber shot models) due to specific functions. it all depends on the personality of the person. ^_^ If you wanna go Soundtrippin, then pick a W-series that you want, they all have good sound quality after all. If you're a picture loving person then a K-series is the weapon of choice. ^_^ Hope this helps people. email me for comments if you must. Cheers all!

I bought this phone because i want to become a photographer. it has a very good still camera, a high resolution one but when it comes to video recording, i wonder how did sony ericsson does it bad. come to think of it its very blurry. In terms of the connectivity, this phone really rocks. But when it comes to music, this phone sucks. Come on sony ericsson, could you invent a phone that will make music comes to life?? coz this K800i only have a 50% stereo music compared to the 105% stereo music of the Nokia express music phones. Speaking of the joystick, the joystick does'nt work properly. my phone always hang up whenever I played a 30minute video. If I'm gonna rate this phone from a scale of 1 to 5. this phone would receive 3points for that...

Is there any way to use the k800i's flash or AF light as a torch. (eg like a program)
This phone seems like the ultimate competitor to the n73. The K800i seems to take the lead in terms of the still camera (not so much videos - n73 is way better) {am I right]. But there’s more to a good phone, so which phone seems better in terms of messaging, user friendliness, constructability (like the joystick and the camera cover) and speed (and others that are important and I’ve missed)?

hello guyz...i m going to purchase a complete camera phonle along with the better sound quality but i m really confuse abt the nokia 5610 and sony ericssion k800i..plz tell which one i should buy...i know there is no objcetion abt se k800i pic quality but is it sound quality as good as nokia 5610 ??..i also would like to know abt 5610 pic quality...plz don't let me down...i m waiting 4 anyone to reply.....
