Guess what? K800i can modify to K810i. just change the casing and modify a little inside and it is totally same with K810i. Wonder if K800i can chg to K810i's software.

so far no product after the K800i include a new features accept K850i
bu i have one comment regarding the Sony Ericsson Products in general...Why the Front Camera only works in video call mode why i can't just use it like Nokia's products...it's so sad that even K850i this feature in not included either...Thanks i hope my comment was helpful...

          Guys,know the truth.
K800i has a great camera but in some cases. In landscape or potrait in dayligt n73 is the best. It shows details and sharpness like digital camera. Macro mod winner is k800i. Its xenon flash works great at night. But n73 in firmware 4.075.. improves a lot in night mode. And has no blue haze. Taking night picture without flash is great in n73 with latest firmware than k800i. Though it shows natural colour people like the vivid colour. Go to mobile-review.com and see the review of n73 3.2 megapixel performance. Than u will get the truth.

hi evry1, k800i is one of the best phone of all tym, just not bcoz of its camera quality but also for the facilities that it provides to its users.it has everythng u can ask a mobile to bring for u. yes it doesnt hav wi-fi wat u may argue but i dnt thk you will get tym to browse the net while u'l b busy taking awesome pictures, i mean the picture quality is really gr8,its worthy not to pay a lot of money for the N95 which is 5 mega pixel but i thk the Cyber-Shot is more than enough.it has a gr8 standby time, i suggest u to decrease the brightness of the display and will notice the difference in a couple of days, the music quality is good too despite it lacks MEGA BASS what walkman phone supports.but the sound is really gud.and most importantly it DOES supports WMA playback as well as mp3's mp4's etc etc,the joystick is fine if ur not very much fond of playing mobile games.another advantage is u can use ur phone's other functions while sending an mp3 or other files to ur frnds using bluetooth. it has an activity menu key that can really help u.the display is super its sharp, nice ,large, attractive.the unique function in dis phone is u can zoom in ur video while u play them, u dont even hav to stop the playback of ur video.it has a flight mood as well which is pretty much simillar to walkman phones "music only" mood, the web browser is cool and the rss reader too, u can use as many java application as u want just by using the activity menu key.so all in all this phone is a great gadget as u hav understood already i thk dont wan2 tell anymore abt the picture quality its sooo good.if anyone needs any kind of help just send me an email i'll try my best to help u.best regards. and dont forget k800i is the JAMES BOND's cell phone

I'm from the philippines. I've got a problem regarding the phone or M2 card.. actually i don't know what the real problem is. The memory stick just gets corrupted everytime i transfer files (using USB). I've already bought 3 M2 cards, they all got corrupted!!

Can anyone help me?! Why is this happening?!
                                Thanks

btw ...you K800 has PHOTODJ that is equal to PHOTOFIX

and with the track ID you can download the .jar file that you cand find on the internet .. or simply install the K810 software on your K800...
in the Future I've heard that you cand install ->W softwares on your SE k800

I have had my K800i on Vodafone (UK) with 2Gig Sandisk M2 card for about a month now and I'll try to provide my second review and answer some questions: a) My 2G card works great, hardly full yet! However, sometimes if I pop it out and back in, the phone does not see it and I have to re-insert it, but to be fair, I have no reason to ever remove it. b) Transferring files using Bluetooth is easy and fast. c) Using Bluetooth and iSync to sync my Apple Macbook's Address book and iCal with the K800i address book and calendar works like a dream and has changed my life. d) The camera is fantastic - in good light or using the flash. I find that switching the camera to Document mode provides sharper images as the softening used for the default mode is switched off. (It also turns on Macro, but that doesn't seem to effect the long distance focusing). e) No problems with the joystick so far, but it is early days. f) The keypad is not as fast/snappy as others, but no big deal. g) The audio player is very versatile, although it will not play DRM WMA or AAC (iTunes) files which is a pain and if anyone knows what to do, I be very happy as I have PAID for tracks on my Mac that will not play on my K800i. h) Having played with some of SE's more recent phones, I believe they invested a lot more in the quality of the K800i almost making it a loss leading showcase product - from the lovely bright screen to the cameras auto focus mechanism. The new K850i is confusing to operate and lacks the polish of the T650/K800i and some of the more posh Nokias. Only other phones I would consider are the iPhone (lack of radio and autofocus camera a minus!), the LG Viewty, the Samsung F700 or Nokia N81/82. Except for WiFi, K800i does it all really!

U can use a 2Gb Micro M2 card without any problems. I have heard that some 2Gb M2 cards doesn't work on the phone (probably the cheap ones). I have a SanDisk and it works perfectly. Almost impossible to fill up :-)
