camera version 2.5 sucks...2.9 is great...and a lot sharper...some peeps on esato.com are trying to make the video's recording resolution record up to qvga at 30 fps.,

Been using this phone for the past 5 months and its been giving me pleasure everyday. With the 3.2MP camera built into it I no longer have to carry a full time camera with me. I just put in a 1GB memory card so I can now continue clicking away without ever worrying that it will fill up.

Even the night time photography is excellent. I remember I went to my companys staff get together and took some photos in the dark. When we returned back to work and I posted the photos on our intranet everyone was astonished with the quality and clarity of photos taken by the K800i.

Todate some staff don't believe that I took the photos from the K800i phone.

I would seriously recommend this phone to any one any day, as its got everything you could as for from a phone. :) (not taking into account smart phones)

All in all its a daam fine mobile, tough, yet stylish, and does the job pretty well :)

Had been using it for 9months, it's really is the best phone that I owned so far... Good camera, good mp3 player(with some good earphone of cause!) No regret for buying it :)

Except for the stupid joystick and the soft sound =.=

I got the K800i as an upgrade the other day. My previous phone was the Nokia N80 but I was getting bored of Nokias (i've had them for 10 years) and fancied a change. It's a nice little phone, but you cannot personalise it to the degree that you can a Nokia.

The only thing I find annoying is the positioning of the space when texting (it's on the # and not the 0), but this is probably a Sony Ericsson thing, rather than this particular phone.

The camera and video quality knocks spots off the N80 - very impressed with that.

Lots of nice little features and very easy to use, just dont expect to be able to personalise it too much and move stuff around like you can the Nokia.

Hi users of k800i does this phone has HTTP for one of it internet profile mode. That is menu-settings-internet settings-internet profiles. U then try to edit one of the profile until u get to choose wap or http. I want to buy this phone based on that , camera and music. With http files of any size can be downloaded from the internet. This option is present in w800i w550i and w600i.

I have had this phone for a year. I had no complaints. It did die out on me once, but after I gave it back to the company they sorted out the problem.

SE never mentions much about the hardware they use under the body. I was wondering if this phone could handle Symbian OS. I was comparing the N73 which falls under the Smartphone category. What would happen to the K800i if if was given a chance to run Symbian OS?
