K800i was my dream phone at the moment..so when i got the chance to have it, i was proven ryt.. everything was amazing (but not the video) only it was stolen from me after a month of using it!!!

Hi Everybody!
I have this phone for about 1 year - had it shipped from overseas before it came to the states. I like it a whole lot better, than my previous Nokia 8801. Battery last, great pictures, well-designed and easily use. But the the speaker is too small, the sound has been distorted from the very beginning and the video could be better. It is true, that when you zoom at while you're making video, the quality gets worse. I think a few dropped calls once in a while you can live with. Using its menu is really easy and cool, but for some reason, sometimes it gets slow. They should improve a better lens-cover, it always opens up, when you put your phone in your pocket. Also it would be great a scratch-resistant glassed display!!! In short, it's a great phone, you're gonna love it!!! ;)

Yes the phone was announced in Feb 06 but it was released after that and being the owner of it i can say its not outdated at all if you like it get one because i promise you will love every aspect of it. There is an update of it coming soon but it is all the same just a slimmer model.

no ur wrong nokias latest 5700 xm does not give u distort sounds its sounds are more clearer than any phone model ... (it got an dedicated music chip inside to reproduce the sounds with more quality) ... what i dont like about the s.e. phones is that most of the phones are designed in the same firmware ... and no matter what theme u install u cant change the icon sets and almost all s.e. walkman series phones looks the same in design ... other wise i should have brought a s.e. phone ... but i must say that this phone the k 800 is a very good phone at its own place ...

what you just said about the memory card is VERY questionable.. because the K800 doesn't take a mms duo.. it takes a M2 card.. lol.. and I know.. I have a 2Gb M2 card on my K800 right now..

ibqr.. hmm sound is better in N73? that is soo wrong. What i've known from nokia (i check with my cousin's N73) is that Nokia speaker is very distorted even with their latest phone. And if you try to listen to song through the earphone, K800 outperform N73.
One more thing, N73 (not the music edition) can't take more than 256MB MMC (the salesgirl told me that and it's been proven that it will hang if you try to put 512MB). I got no problem with my 1Gb mms duo on my K800.
And K800 is cheaper than N73

Yes it is . You can zoom it up to 32x but i can say that zooming more then 8x aren't that good.

this fone is CAMERA PERFECT! yes it is!
but...aside from camera..video is veryyy baaad!! and its boring phone :( but..camera is good no regret yea.

I've had this phone for about 6months now.
Cons:
My major complains are design. The camera cover very easily drags off. The corners are abit sharp. two buttons on each side of the video cam irritates my ear when using it without handsfree.
I want sms/mms into the caller list
Pros:
Webviewer is great.
great display
batterytime up to 4days
recent software very stable
It is quite fast

if you want full digicam digital video go straight to get sony product, this se phone occupied entertain and phone function on 1/2 only

phone design and xenon flash is great, but low level stage compare to n73 and samsung D900.

I just bought this phone one week ago, and I like it very much. It looks great and it performs great. I really recommend this phone I had a Nokia N73 and 6280 and the k800i is a lot better. Especially the camera quality is no regret!!!

The battery life on this phone is terrible i have to charge my phone most days (and no i dont use it all day)
Had this phone since feb 07 and i am already bored with it!!!
