all i can say is that this phone is great, nicer quality of audio than n93i. because it has 74 channels unlike n93i having 64 channels only,

but there's one thing i want about n93i. it contains WLAN(Wi-Fi 802.11b/g) that allows me to use the internet in some places without using wires, WLAN is a wireless local area network, which is the linking of two or more computers without using wires.

more info about WLAN:
"WLAN utilizes spread-spectrum or OFDM (802.11a) modulation technology based on radio waves to enable communication between devices in a limited area, also known as the basic service set. This gives users the mobility to move around within a broad coverage area and still be connected to the network.

For the home user, wireless has become popular due to ease of installation, and location freedom with the gaining popularity of laptops. Public businesses such as coffee shops or malls have begun to offer wireless access to their customers; some are even provided as a free service. Large wireless network projects are being put up in many major cities." -wikipedia

i hope that Sony ericsson would be able to utilize this feature in to their phones..

one more thing before i forget... samsung have this phone "F700" it has 5 MP, 2592х1944 pixels, autofocus, flash, video; secondary videocall camera... "so far, is the best camera resolution ever"

i am using N70 right now...i don know how this phone work but..overall i am very please with my phone...just that u need to recharge the phone once every 2days. N70 is a bit heavy but still manageable... i think u should go to the shop and try out both phones..but camera wise... this phone is better with higher pixels..

I have this mobile phone for almost a month now, i really have no reason to return it, my firmware is R1ED001 and it is very stable, i had no problems whatsoever and im very happy, camdriver really it's a pitty as it records only at 15fps but there are camdrivers mods outhere that makes video recording available at 30fps, dispite few bugs maybe they will be improved in the future. Has lots of usefull features, you can record a voice call while you are calling directly to the music folder, you can configure 5 different allarms you can watch video movies at 25-30 fps with very very crisp and clear quality using M3 software... you can add tasks, notes, and code memo's with password protection. it's fast, it's pretty, and it's bit heavy as i like :) i like bit heavy electronic stuff, makes me think they're really good. housing is made from nice soft material also, im very happy i have to say. FM radio is very cool... and now for the mp3 player, some people say that sound sucks, but that is just not true, music player seems a lot like walkman mobiles, but buy yourself a 3.5mm adapter and connect it with a good pair of headphones and you will be stumbled with the sound quality, no hiss, crisp trebles and sufficient bass with manual enchancements EQ available...has better sound than WS-320m from olympus with same headphones
      9/10 :) very happy

you can easily copy musics from your PC to your k800i via DCU-cable, when connecting to the computer windows asks you for the drivers , you must insert CD to install the drivers whether you are in phone mode or file transfer mode... note that file transfer mode is faster, then use windows explorer, drag and copy

K800i is a very good phone as compared to N73i I used N73i Internet Edition for a week and gave it back and brought K800i The N73i is so very slow and ofcourse the Camera S**** big time Ii takes an hour to take a snap. Other than the good speakers & big display It has nothing usefull. No Recurrent Alarm, Voice quality bad during calls. K800i - good camera, good voice, fast, What else do you want...

i just got this phone 2 months ago and i must say there are a few things i do not like about it
                1. vibration : compared to Nokia 6230 that nearly broke my hip bones when ringing this one feels like my 7 month old son touching me
                2. ringing : when at max. it doesn't even come close to nokia, most probably because the speaker should have been on the side and all credits to nokia, they've had the genious idea of a mettalic mesh to cover the speaker instead of making tiny holes into the plastic cover which i believe is why this phone laks in speaker power

All in all i have expected a tremendous phone and got a nearly good phone, too bad because it could have been the one.

                  wap key wrong place
no facility to disarm wap key
volume not as good as nokia
5mm too thick.i wud like to sell it for £180 only 2months old

My K800i has a problem. One day when I changed the SIM it just refused to turn on. The Infrared light blinks once when I try to turn it on. When I press the power button the second time nothing happens, when I press it the third time the light in the Infrared port blinks 5 times...

yeah, i just bought a 2gb sandisk m2 memory card. i haven't seen a 4gb yet, 2gb is enough for me. m2 memory card is still not that popular, i had a hard time finding it in stores. now, do anyone know any good sites where i can get wallpapers/themes for the k800i? and any help on removin' the carrier logo on the phone would be appreciated. (seems like the only way is to flash the firmware)

The sound quality of MP3'S on the phone is not the same as the walkman series phones, sound quality of walkman phones is far superior to that of the k800i. But that doesnt mean that mp3 playback on this phone is poor though, its good, but walkman phones have well i believe outstanding mp3 playback quality, but this is the point of walkman brand phones surely! Basically it depends on what you prefer, a fantastic mp3 player or a fantastic camera, so you decide wether it be a k800i or a w850i accordingly.
