I'm going to buy this phone.
I've tried it at the shop , it's great!
It's really bulls**t that the phone is oversized. The size is great, either the weight is good.
By the way , after I've read and tried this phone , I've understood- curreclty , there isn't such good phone in it's price.
And no , I'm not talking only about the camera , yes , the camera is great either , but the phone itself is very well made , i like it's design , it's size and weight.
In the review , they say that M2 (card format) is too rare , and unpopular- that's not true , in my country , I've found tons of shops with that card for great price.
About the joystick - I've tried it out either , and I've noticed , that it's a lot better than in these in Nokia's phones.
It's comfortable.
Well , that's all I can say for now. Soon I'll have this phone , and post again more things about the phone.
Last thing - till now , I havn't found anything bad about this phone.

this phone rox man...no complaints so far..still the best camera fone in the market..im just a bit afraid of the lens cover and the joy stick..hope all goes well

This phone is great, the reason i got is because is the only phone that comes with xenon flash. all the other 3mpx camara phones come with LED flash. In pitch black the quality of the xenon flash is awesome. the only problem is the quality of the video, because it only films on 3gp quality, what a waste. Also the battery life last only 1 or 2 days. But over all i love it, and i wont change it until someone comes out with a 5mpx xenon flash

just afew question to K800i users.
1)Besides 3gpp format what other format can this phone play movie (eg convert and transfer from VCD or DVD).
2) Can this phone install office suite to edit and view documents.
3) What kind of photo edit function does this phone has. Can I do frame & artwork.

hi there! i became a SE fan after my smooth experience with the s700i. Just wondering if thìs phone's a better choice than the w850i, and can the message alert tones b changed to mp3. Anyone know?

got my phone back after 2-1/2 months from sony ericsson tech department since the problem was resulted (phone hanged then it never opened till i walk my butt to SE service center), up to know, i am not getting any serious problems encountered. If you really want to compare this phone over N73 -- the nokia phone tends to over saturize the color of the picture you got from the 3.2mpx, other than that -- the size of the screen, the sound, document viewer N73 is far better... But i still chose SE K800i
Why? I fell in love with the XENON FLASH!

I Still have that "OPERATION FAILED" problem with application and games and i can't install any softwares, I restarted my phone , did the master reset but all in vain.

Oh, this phone rocks. I`m working at mobile shop, so I had a chance to play with it and compare with Nokia N73, N80. I`ll get K800 Monday. The reasons why I love it :
1) awesome camera (I sent few pictures that are posted here to my friends. They thought it's a digital camera and were shocked when I told them it's a phone. So this means I`ll have good camera always with me. And it got the BEST flash I have ever seen in a phone)
2) 3G (yeah, at last I`ll have a 3G phone)
3) I really like how it looks
4) web browser is ok
5) sound quality is ok (not so good as walkman phones but I have mp3 player and it's better to save battery.
and about bad stuff :
1) I don`t care about video, N73 video is better, N93 is almost godlike but it's too big and expensive. I just don`t need video rec so much.
2) size? who said that SE K800 is big? Actually I don`t like those new thin phones. K800 size and weight is ok, you can feel it in your hands
3) it's not a smartphone. But I don`t need office and stuff.
Just one question - what's about battery? Maybe someone who uses this phone for longer time could say how long it lasts. (moderate use, not only waiting for a call)
