People u r going nuts with fones ...its just fones choose what's more suitable for u ..for those seeking Still images and great sound go for k800 ..for those seeking a work tool which also takes decent pics go for the n73 ... for me i've made my mind i use camera too much for pics day and NIGHT ..so i gonna pic the fone that wins with the xenon flash ...that all ..

if ur from australia,
dont worry bout new firmwares..
ur fone got the latest!
worry only bout the firmware if ur fone hangs so much, as in sooooo... LAG!
it also void warranty..so beware!
if ur fone is broke,
bring it to authorized repairshop..
much better..

i was just wondrin if anyone here has the new firmware ive got 3 mobile and im in australia i was just wondrin if i update my firmware would i lose my planet 3

i have an unlocked fone from optus here in australia..
i could use MP3 and even video!!
as caller ringtones..
for messages just the MP3..
maybe it depends on ur network provider where u buy that fone..
coz some of them, put programs in ur fone where they deactivate the use of MP3 as ringtones..

well guys
so much fight b\w n73 and k800i. well is it that ppl r so obsessed abt their fones that start fighting over trivial matters. well believe it or not both the fones are a technical marvel so is it not better to keep ur viewpoint simple and non abusive for other fones.

1.camera : n73 is better (from which part of d world ha...mad?!!! of course CYBERSHOT smackin, kickin, killin & bombin d lame carl zeiss) K800i a lot better than N73
2.wifi : no wifi for all (no need K800i handel this matter, enough just his brother K790i)
3.screen : n73 is better is colors and size (in size ya N73 better but in color, display & resolution EXCEPT UR BLIND yes u can say N73 better. hahaha that S.T.U.P.I.D ha..mad? r u mad ha...mad? lol

To all you c@nts moaning about the k800i, stop it. it is the worlds greatest phone. fantastic camera and the best battery life bar non.
It is the king of phones so f@ck @ff and stop moaning.

i'm planning on buying this phone. i've heard alot of good things about it being a camera phone..but i wonder and i really want to know if its music player has good sound quality...?? i, ofcourse do not expect it to be as good as the walkman phones..but it would really be a big plus if its close to the sound quality of the W's.. pls help.. thanks! =) and can anyone tell me what are the contents of the package when i buy it..?? does it have earphones for music?? Thanks again! ;D

I have a friend using N73 and he says that his N73 loudspeakers are much better than my K800i. Is it true? He didn't let me compare the speakers with my phone.

I Have a bad experience with my K800.
I have my k800 for about 2 months now. A couple of days ago it froze and make this loud beeping sound.... i was in class and i don'tknow how to get rid od the sound so i took the battery out hoping to turn the phone off. it turned off then i put the bat. back on and power the phone back on again.it turned on. 2 days ago the same incident happen it make a long beeping sound and froze this time i was teaching a class.. it was very embarassing...don't know how to stop the sound so i took the bat. out again and leave it off... now i can't turn it on.
Is that normal????
i was just wondering does anyone have the same problem as me and if you have the same problem what did you do?
i called SE and they told me send it in so they can troubleshoot it. they make me pay for the shipping and said i have to wait up to 3 months. that is silly. (They say this phone is not a N. America Phone) so it takes longer to fix it.
Im sittin here pissed off because i don't have a phone to use...can anyone suggest something???????Please.....Im loosing faith in SE.... i was their #1 Fan......

K800? Been using it for 2 weeks now and I can say i made a good move of upgrading from my old reliable K700i. Nice design. Superb camera to replace my Sony DSC-P10 digital cam. Fast connection and downloading because its 3G. Excellent choice indeed. No regrets. Hats of to Sony Ericsson again. More power and more good phones in the future.
Just wanna ask if anyone knows the latest firmware for the K800i?

I live in bangladesh. I've bought my phone 4 days back and today updated the firmware through update services. My new firmware version is R1ED001. Since then I can't access to the applications and Games menu. It's always giving msg 'Operation failed'. I've tried restarting the phone, master reset and other generally known ways but couldn't resolve the problem. Please help me. Since there's no authorized Seller of SE here in Bangladesh it's not possible to get any assistance from them.

my k800 joystick doing great till now (i bought it 4months ago) it is a fixed fiber i suppose diff with my N73 joystic. within d 2nd month d joystic chrome startin to peel off.
