symbol in blue colour like 3 circulares mix together---> thats 3G signal. when ur in 3G's coverage area the symbol will shown up automaticaly but dont forget to set ur network to "3G and GSM'

just got this handset as its awsome- camera is ace and just the handset is general is the best ive ever used- 10/10 excellant

i'm considering to upgrade my hp to either an N80 or the K800. wic one is better? the w800 lacks wifi, wic i intend to hav it in my next phone. e n80 does hv wifi. hwevr, its heavier n i hv heard many nagative points abt it compared to w800, including e battery life. i'm really stuck nw. can any1 give some comments?

well...i did a test..how long the batery will survive with out recharging..in normal uuse...i eman..some playing...talking ..msging..etc...
well...here it is..
it survives 3 days and 5 hours exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now that is a battary life!!!!!

Just watched Casino Royale.

ifact this is one in a million in all sonyericson phone produced ealy this year so i recomened many to buy it and comfirm it them self but the only error their is that it dosnt come with it!s memory card.

Whene I switched on my SE K800i it shows in the left side intresting symbol in blue colure like 3 circulares mix together, what dose it meen???

hy guys just notice that K800i internal memory(64mb) is upgradable. i'm using "far manager" to delete unnecessary pre-given content and i've got my internal's became 75mb. can nokia N73's 42mb internal do this?? i've done d experiment. result??

this mobile phone rocks!!!! expensive & solid looking, we might compare k800i with N73. in daylight i rather say they're equals, but within low light condition or nightshot?... c'mon man, dont u guys read & understand CYBERSHOT???!!!! stop comparing d pic quality. K800i 2 way ahead

I bought this phone, sony ericsson k800i, 2 months ago. I couldnt wait to play with it and when i got it, thats what i exactly did. I spent so much time playing and getting to know this phone that until now i am still in a "wow" state.
First of all, i like the phones color. I am so glad i did not get the james bond - casino royale version (kinda greyish color) because this one fits my personality better. It is not like the motorola razr v3i version (metallic) and yes it is plastic but the phone is stylish (at least what i think).
I want to start with the good side:
The screen is vibrantly clear and crisp. Buttons are fair, not really friendly especially for those people who have big fingers, but for somebody like me who have tiny fingers i can live with it and it works fine. Navigation button is a plus although it takes a couple of steps to get to wherever you want to go in the settings/menu but once you get use to it, you dont even have to look at the screen, your hands will just guide you through it. Although the slider that covers the camera does not look like it belongs there because of its shiny color, I like the fact that it is different and it adds more to the looks of the phone.
Features include applications you see in a regular camera phone; sms, mms, email, wap (with almost close to true full webpage), clock, organizer, stopwatch, you know stuff like that. I really like the software that they put it in it such as; 3D games, hp print (via bluetooth), photo mate, photodj, videodj, musicdj, and my favorite face warp (you take a picture of somebody in close up and then make fun of them by using this software because it will make them look more uglier). I like the video call feature but i couldnt use it because USA does not carry that service (i also like the fact that the phone has two camera, 3mp and a vga for video call)
The best part that i like about this phone is the camera. SEK800I, 3.2 megapixel camera is so awesome. Granted that it does not compare to a stand alone 7 megapixel camera (duh) but it does compare to a stand alone 3.2 megapixel camera (my friend still have her 3.2 nikon and i can honestly say that this one is more better picture wise). The camera features of this phone is excellent. I dont even want to go to all the details because it is too much. It took me a long time to figure it out and until now i have to remind myself that there are some features that i can use to better my picture quality when im using it as a digital camera. Flash is nice, although, It does not compare to the flash that a stand alone camera has. That would be something that needs improvement. Anti-shake features is awesome (all my digital camera did not have this feature). Best pic did not seem to appeal me but for a lot of folks it does. Zoom is alright, will be better if it is a 7 meg. Overall, sony did a good job in combining its digital camera features with Ericsson's digital cell phone.
Battery life is excellent. I use my phone a lot in taking pictures for school, playing radio and mp3 (which are the two awesome features that I need and want for a cell phone), and of course, making calls. With all that, I really do not have to recharge my phone for two days. When i recharge my phone, it goes to Optimize Charging. Seriously, it only take me an hour to charge it, and most of the time my battery is dead.
Signal is better than my other phones (nokia, motorola, seimens, panasonic, lg) but of course, you cannot just "not have" a dead spot (although cingular claims to have a "no dead spot" zone). Processing system is pretty fast. I never have to boot up my phone due to a freeze up. Internet access using WAP is fair. We do not have EDGE here so i dont know if this phone is good in that.
Now the bad side:
Like what i said, the volume is pretty low. I actually have to stick the phone (i mean literally stick it hard) on my ear. With wired earpeice, it is better. The speaker phone is not bad. Even when playing mp3, it sounds good (not as good as the razr v3i mp3 speakers). The buttons, as i mentioned above, is an issue for most people. WiFi is not available for this phone which would really help when you are in a coffee shop so you wont get charge for data transfers. I think thats about it.
Overall, This phone is awesome and the brand name (sony ericsson) speaks for itself. I cant wait for the 7 megapixel

I have a plan to buy new phone in this short period. I have 2 choices, N73 and K800. According to one of my friend.K800 is better for the camera result compare to N73. Is it true? since many of my friend said that nokia's camera is better than others. please give me suggestion about K800 performance...

that's a rather difficult question to answer. must depend on what you like better.k800 plays music on earpiece is rather ok. but on loudspeaker nide not as good.

if you go for nothing, choose n70 or n80.

are you blind or what? this phone HAS autofocus. and also flash. to add on to it, its XENON flash. do you like live in a third world country thats doesnt have FM? cos it does play FM in MY country. and the speaker is FINE. though its not as good as the walkman series one but its rather ok.
