1.Do all the k800s come with vodafone live. Coz i was looking in the shops and some had a vodafone live sticker instead of the cyber-shot one on the front.
2.I was also looking around and i saw that some k800s have different butons. If u look at the one on this website, the side buttons are for web browsing and stuff. One the vodafone live ones, those buttons are either a green fone or a red fone.
Which one is Fong Kong? Someone PLEASE help me out!!!

Yes, you can have mp3s as ringtones. yes u can have the largest sized memoray card that is out in the phones. and it will be compatable. hope it helps.

cxtxlxn, i have 1 dead pixel. it is in the middle-top screen. it's on the first row of horizontal line of pixels. it's always white that pixel. is that since i bought the phone

as i know, the highest memory card supported is 2gb. and you can use a videoclip as a ring tone, not only a mp3

i need help....i record vedios using th phone...i record it holding the phone horizantal..but when i play it in the pc..the vedio does not get normal like other vedios..it played horizental...how to make vedios recording horizantal..played on the pc like any other normal vertical vedio?? got it?

i have not exprienced any problems since i got it ( about 1 month ago ) even before update by SEUS, no dead pixles ( also i dont know what is this) no crashes or freezes..etc.....

yes rosy...u can use mp3 songs as msg tones..
u can use them in their full length or cut them...
personaly i have a program ( mp3knife) and i cut the songs from where i want so the tone will be as i want..

Hey guys, do you think this phone is good enough to replace your typical standalone digital camera ? Because I do want to walk with less gadgets around when I'm going out. I would also like to print out my pictures instead of keeping them on the computer. Any1 using this phone thinks it produces good enough quality for that to happen ? Thanks
I don't like to walk around with a phone, an mp3 player and a camera. better to have all-in-1.

Hi, I have used k800i for abt 2 weeks. So far so good, it is definitely alot of improvement from k750i. The screen is bigger, the keypad is much more comfortable. Even the problematic joystick in k800i has improved really alot. Good job SE.
But i encounter some aliens character or white screen a few times. I wonder why? Does anyone face the same problem? Pls dun tell me I need to upgrade my software.
Another thing, I remember in k750i, I can view PDF file. But I dun seem to be able to do that anymore in k800i. Is there a trick or something which i'm not aware of?
The internet connect button on the left side juz diagonally above the return button. I click on that by accident a few times. Does it cost anything?
The battery life is ok. It last me pretty decent for abt 2.5 days on low calling days. And about 1.5 days on high calling days.
Juz feel that the file manager abit stupid split it into , , .

K800 is a great mobile phone. Takes great pics and the screen resolution is one of the best! SE my only request, please add a "Flash ON" so that taking pictures against the light would be possible. Overall just a great phone! Peace

One more question, when you make use of your mp3 files as message tones and ringtones, can the songs be played in full or are they being cut? If they are cut, how many seconds are they allowed for message tone and if use as ringing tones. Thanks in advance.

yep - it can only be done in video player.
Not sure if there is a way to have the videos that were recorded horizontally play in landscape in a PC. I'll try to research on that man...
To convert your WMV or AVI videos to MP4:
Use VLC player - quite complicated a bit, took me hours to successfully convert a video - with sound. Btw, its free.
To convert it to 3gp:
Use ImToo converter - easier to use, can also convert to MP4 and diff formats, but video quality is better when you use VLC, also, youll ned to buy the full version, coz the trail will only convert 5 mins of video.
