Can anyone help me on how to lock the phone ,like with a password(i not talking about key pad lock)so when ever need to use must enter a password.

thanks guys n gals for all the advices!iv been trying to decide between the K800 n W850 and now i know its definitely the K..quality is more important than looks.i guess everyone has their own opinion!for me if i want sound il rather get n ipod..hehe

The k800i is the 1st sony ericsson phone i have ever used as I have always prefered Nokia's, however - i feel that sony ericsson has become far more superiour than the rest of the mobile brands... having used all of the new mobiles that are curently available i find the k800i much easier to use,with more functions and little extras that most of the other mobiles dont have - such as a great picture warper that alows you to warp the pictures of your nearest & dearest to make them look as weird as you wish...great for a bit of fun! Iv never seen such great video & camera quality on any other phone... with this great gadget, not only can you organise your life you can capture the "moment" and take that with you forever. 10/10

i have been using k800 for 2 months this is so good fone i can,t express .it has not one which is privacy for pictures and movies

Use the k800i with the HPM-82 headset. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. The headset that comes with it, HPM-60, is crap. And I think this is the best phone of the lot...

I just bought this phone almost a month now. It's fantastic. The camera works perfectly even at very low-light conditions. No mobile phone could match up to the quality of the pictures rendered by k800 even its direct competitor N73. I bought the brown version because everybody has black. As soon as the silver faceplate is available in sony centers, I would definitely change the faceplates.
Another thing is the games available for k800. 3d games are such a fantastic experience.
The mp3 player although not as good as my previous w810, it's just ok.
K800 is definitely SE best mobile for 2006.

help guys....
i am trying to take pictures in bad light situation...
but when i use the flash.. the pic get dark coz light-light interaction... but if i dont use the flash the pic stll dark...
what setting to use..
and if i picturing ppl with very intense light background(behined the ppl) the pic get a lil dark too..
what setting to use for both situation?

i had this phone for a month and i have had more problems then any other phone i have ever had its slow it freezes the call list doesnt work it looks nice but it sucks

Has anyone experienced dead pixels.they can be seen on black screen in the dark.i've seen 3 phones til now and all of em has had this problem...

It's a very good phone, many have dumped their N73 and go for this phone.. I'm one of them. No hanged, beautiful photos, user friendly..
For W850i, I tried for 1 day and sold it off and bought back K800i. The camera quality of W850i really disappointing and the phone is expensive.. Don't waste your money buying W850i, in my opinion go for W550i instead of you want a good walkman phone..
Long Live Sony Ericsson K800i..Probably the best camera phone on earth today..

well i am a lady too,and i am considering this fone too i might buy it one day (when i know the price harharhar)it is really too bulky for a lady but i prefer it if you try to look at it it is better than w850,im not used to the slide things at it has way better features!what on earth will you do with a "nice looking "phone if it has not so good feautures,i like listening to music and i have an mp3 too,but hey thats not connected.any way its like buying a nice looking phone with no flash,take the k618i its disappointing!if i had the money just right now,i would be holding the k800 real soon.and so thats it i think you should go for the k800

I was thinking of getting K800i this coming week but I'm still considering shd I buy K800i or W850i? K800i has the great features while W850i has got the nicer outlook design. I'm not a music lover as I already had a mp3 player,so I think K800i is more suitable for me but it's too bulky for a lady to handle it. K800i looks ugly as compared to the nice and petite design of W850i. Can anyone pls help me on the decision? I really need some of your advice and tips between the functionality of the 2 phones. Also,to enquire,does anyone know what's the difference between K800 and K800i & W850 and W850i?? Pls email me soon. Thank you.

Moved from vodafone to o2 recently to get this phone and I cant believe how good it is. Now I can always get my e-mails on the move and the phone is very stylish. The camera and video recording are excellent. My bills are now great with o2 compared to vodafone, vodafone can be a little expensive. I would advise anyone due for upgrade to get this phone as soon as possible, ever imagined a mobile could be so good!

Got this phone from the carphonewarehouse business team, best phone I have ever had, camera is amazing, battery life is superb , and the push e-mail facility was great and the service was excellent, they also gave me a 14 day return period incase I didnt like the phone. Sony and carphone rock!!
